If we continue overproduction of elites, youth unemployment and boomer supremacy we get revolution and or communism. Gen X had their chance but was too cool to do anything but enjoy a decayed boomer lifestyle. They got to work as adults in the 90s and invest at every downturn for maximum gain. While I don't blame them for the state of things beyond the margins they could have made better choices on the macro/political to avoid this fate. Those in the work force are in lofty positions and I admit many of them are sources of information specific to their craft, some even my mentors but most are the cusp of retirement. Lately mine have been calling me out to the group as being destined to take their place and I really don't even want it. This shit is coming to a head and I want the option to cut and run without concern because of how fucked society looks and I work in a field where society getting fucky and catching on fire will keep me busy.
