>be a poorfag
>get together with another poorfag
>be poorfags together, but not be financially retarded
>despite working shit unskilled jobs, work together to save up, be frugal, invest
>by the time hit age of 30, have enough money to basically semi retire
>buy a home in a nice suburban area
>work maybe 20 hours a week while letting investment account do the rest
>spent free time enjoying hobbies together
You guys ever fantasize about something like this?
Poorfag that made it to financial independence in my early 30's and I just sit on my ass every day being amused by the stock market, and even market corrections don't phase me. Looking back the only thing I dislike is all the relationships I had were with girls who wanted to live "in the moment" and not worry about finance while I was grinding 60 hours a week, so things obviously didn't work out.
I'm still content with life but one financially literate girl who shares the same hobbies with me probably would complete my life.
>>
>>62567592
Financial independence at 30 working low end jobs? What?
>>
>>62567592
what a fucking shit larp. kys
>>
>>62567596
Waiter
>$15 minimum wage
>usually an additional $20
>usually assigned 30 hours, but co-workers are lazy bums so it's more like 40
>35*40*4 = $5600 a month. 5600*12 = $67,200 before gay taxes
Uber Eats
>$30 an hour, but honestly more like $20 after factoring in shit gas
>usually only did about 20 hours a week
>20*20*4 = $1600 a month. 1600*12 = $19,200 before gay taxes
Combined Yearly Income of $86,400
I started that grind at 24, lived with my parents until I was 28, so disregard rent for the most part.
I can't begin to calculate money made from stocks when I a beginner investor. I made huge gains from stocks like META, AMZN, and JPM, but lost on stocks like BABA and TDOC. Probably overall gained a net $100k and would have been $200k if not for retarded stocks I lost on.
>>
>>62567622
And that means retired by 30?
>>
>>62567622
Faggot
>>
>>62567657
32, but yes. Living expenses are $2.1k, monthly income from stock premium trading and dividend is $5k.
>>
>>62567667
Wtf. Ok. I don’t think that is a way to live.
$2.1k monthly expenses
>>
>>62567675
$2.1k is considered frugal where I live. That can easily be $3k in the inner cities, luxury apartments, and party scenes as opposed to the quiet neighborhood town I chose.
The only feasible way to lower that cost, mainly from rent, is to move in back with parents, or find roommates. But I worked my ass to have my own quiet place and peace of mind in the first place so that would make no sense.
>>
>>62567667
What is your total portfolio size or net worth exactly? If you have less than $1mil at your age and expenses I don't see how you're sustainably financially independent?
>>
>>62567691
$620k
$200k is in ARCC, a BDC that gives 10% dividend, considered risky if we have a financial crisis.
>>
>>62567702
>>62567691
Accidentally pressed enter.
The rest I trade in cash secured puts and calls, aiming for .5-1% gains a month. I do it on safe, blue chip stocks that have been hammered by the news (META recently for example).

Ehhhh so basically a financially healthy company that offers a 12% dividend, but considered a dying dinosaur because it's some old fashioned way to give and receive money in a world where we just use venmo nowadays?
I can consider it. I'm expecting BDCs to move up with fed rate hikes while collecting dividend from them though.

>>62567684
What is wrong with parents?
>>
>>62567763
Nothing if you need to save money.
Everything if you don't. I don't want someone nagging at me, I want to walk around the house naked if I wanted, I want to jerk off freely, I want to drink a nice glass of scotch without being judged, I want the thermostat at the temperature I want, I want my fridge to be full of things I want, I want to play vidya until 7 AM without them calling me insane, etc etc etc.
>>
good luck finding a girl who is willing to walk this journey with you and contribute with her own income
and not someone who already wants the finished product
>>
>>62567592
This only works if you're gay. A woman will completely destroy your finances.
>>
>>62568009
This. But I guess you can just do it with another low income female or something. Not sure.
>>62567771
It it because you live in a small house? I noticed poorer people love moving out asap and saying “mothers basement” to people. You pretty much rather be lower class than live at home.
>>
>>62568135
>low income female
It's because they're low income they are looking for a high status chad already not another broke bum to be sad together.
>>
>>62568188
> another broke bum to be sad together.
Ive always thought this myself. Majority of people are poor and unattractive and I noticed most couples are just poor and unattractive people together. Like why do people get together? I thought avoiding losers was supposed to be something everyone does?
>>
>>62568188
Not that high status if dating or in a serious relationship with someone lower status.
>>
>>62567622
Same here but on neetbux instead of working so i basically won.

>>62568009
There are girls who are very savvy, but sadly the balance is tilted to the complete opposite of the average consoomer thot : they are hardcore pennypinchers, which wouldn't be a problem on it's own if the burden was shared, but the pennypinching mostly means they will try to abuse you in order to preserve their savingmaxxing. It's tiny things, but it's all the time, so eventually you'll try to rebel, not even about the $$, but just to preserve your honor as a man, or at least a sense of equity.

You'll still end up saving much more monies than if you were with a consoomer mind you, but it leads to all kinds of troubles and quarrels, which ends up being really draining and turns you in some kind of paranoid freak, you usually turn into a detective to look at where you are getting mini-scammed by your girl on a weekly basis. And even tho the "evil deeds" are on her end, you are the one looking like the stingy control freak from outsiders eyes.

The secret it seems is to find a girl who is able to be happy with what she got.
>>
>>62568135
>I noticed poorer people love moving out asap and saying “mothers basement” to people.
???
Nigga what. Rich people get to move out and their parents pay for their shit. I had a friend in high school and her father was a rich real estate owner, and when she became 18 she got her apartment Scott-free with her parents paying for it.

Not happening
You need to stop thinking of women as life partners who will help you take on lifes challenges together, and start thinking of them as luxury pets who throw your money away
Modern women don't care about investing, or saving money, or kids, or buying a home, or thinking about the future. Their brain is not wired for that. It's wired for finding a man better off than themselves and latching on to him like leeches

This is the reality for the bottom 70% to 80% of men regardless of wealth. Looks > wealth when it comes to girls.
>>
>>62568732
This isn't true whatsoever. Are you an oldfag? Because you sound like a 20 year old who thinks it was better back then.
If you think party scene girls who want guys making six figures, driving lambos, owning penthouse apartments, and paying everything for them, you would have hated women before 2000, and hated them further before 90's. Women back then had only expectations to find a good husband and have children while education was a cool thing to grab if you wanted. If you were a man who could not provide for a family, lived with mom and dad past the age of 21, you were society's loser. Not to mention a freak if you were in to vidya, anime, computers.
Party scene girls are fucking awful. But you can absolutely fine decent, more understanding women nowadays, especially if you're pursuing education in universities, because they're going through the same shit as you.
>>
>>62569730
>Because you sound like a 20 year old who thinks it was better back then.
29 yo and self made. Was a literal poorfag for most of my life and bullied for various, and seen enough bullshit in life to envy previous generations. Women in past were much better and millennials with boomers had it much better than whatever the fuck you have to deal with today when it comes to dating. Women today are worst of worst. They are all tattletales and backstabbing gold diggers. You have to be absolutely delusional to claim otherwise.

So you started working at 18, lived with your parents until 30, bought a house, amassed 620k (im assuming that’s home equity), and you’re coasting on 2k a month?

how much did you put in equities and did you buy the house straight cash or do you have a mortgage? Pretty impressive regardless
>>
>>62569844
>So you started working at 18
Yeah, but it was a minimum wage cashier/cook job back when minimum wage was $9 so almost negligible. Wasn't until 21. I realize it was plain stupid not to move up to becoming a waiter that 3-5x your income.
>lived with your parents until 30
28
>did you buy the house straight cash or do you have a mortgage?
No. I have run the numbers and thought it through. Unless I'm settling down and starting a family, there is no point to buying a house.
My 620k is in dividends and I play with them every week or so to earn income from cash secured puts and covered calls. They give me back about 10-20% depending on the market, sometimes a lot more when we have a bull run.

>Have you dated once?
Yes, lots of times and realized that women are narcissistic retards, that current society is fucked, that all best women get picked out by Chads, and that dating is complete bullshit, and we live in times when things are stacked heavily AGAINST men and don't want you to grow at all, only to rely to work in dead end jobs or live on foodstamps, and live with niggers. You're better off investing yourself into building wealth and buying yourself nicer apartment than going through humiliation rituals that is dating zoomer foids. Hell, getting addicted to heroin is much better than dating.

My family class was lower-middle class with parents who couldn't even achieve more than 20k in savings and had to work 30 years to finally purchase a home only after the 2008 financial crisis.

Now you own stocks you want in a downturn. You own stocks you wanted in the first place, and at the price you thought was good, and stocks you thought was at a good valuation. I did this for 2 years and can't recommend it. I lived frugally like this with another dude and it was good at the start, but eventually working Uber drives together, eating boxed macaroni and cheese together, playing free2play games like overwatch together eventually lead to us getting rid of 1 bed to save money on washing, sleeping together, eventually playing overwatch and eating McDonald's led to hand holding and eventually kissing and mutual masturbation, and at that point I had to quit before I became gay and now I've had to work myself back from the ground up by myself.

Get ready to completely "unretire" within the next 5 years. Again, low end jobs do not check references. I can bullshit my 2 years of not working and they wouldn't care.
Feel free to predict what this big market crash is going to be. Going to do another round of cash secured puts next week that completely covers my entire month's expenses in premiums alone.

The average man needs about $10M to live for about 100 years comfortably and not need anything and be flexible enough to not succumb to any crisis or difficulty. I assume you're in US, otherwise the cost can go higher or lower, usually lower by 20-25% or even more.

I am a lazy bum and live off of my original 100k winnings from playing and somehow not losing at crash games from online casinos. I invested in silver about 20k a year before the insane price hike, gold 50k, and the rest I just stretch via poker and random auctions on PC parts that are more or less profitable. I have enough in my bank account to last another 8 months if everything goes as planned, then I'll either have to actually work or cash out my 1k in shitcoins that I haven't looked at in a way too long of a time and I'm scared they're valued under what I bought them at.

Bro what?
You know shitcoins are down right? If you invested in silver and gold, from what I am looking at in the charts, you should be at around 90k. How in the world can you only live 8 months off of that?
I highly suggest you lower your standard of living man and at least start applying for whatever your skillset is. I think you're going to die.
>>

>Wait, what lifestyle is he even advocating for?
one where having a wife and children is literally impossible, unless you wanna live amongst the pavement apes and watch your sons get groomed by trannies and your daughters by jeet rapists.
>>
>>62573849
I am not cashing the silver and gold yet, I'm hodling on until phone batteries consume silver like hobos consume stale bread.
The rate I am going at right now with poker and PC parts auctions gives me about 8 months of relaxation, and that is on the low end. It's annoying that most of my profits off of PC parts are eaten up income taxes, so I don't really have a lot of income from there. Only PC parts that retain their value are super rare, top end or virtually unchanged parts, like RAM sticks, CPUs, Monitors, that kind of stuff. GPUs, MBs, PC Towers, peripherals and other PCIe cards aren't that profitable, at least the ones I manage to get. HDDs and SSDs fluctuate the most, as I also include the wear/hours they endured and sometimes they sell for a lot, otherwise I have them for half a year and nobody buys them. I don't sell DDR4 or DDR5 at too high prices, just enough to make scalpers lose more on transport, and because I mostly get DDR3 systems. The only auctions I make a lot of money off are those ultra cheap ones with broken parts (my eyes are on the GPUs) that I repair and sell, but they're mostly filled with mid-late 2010's mid-high end GPUs from back then and I make way too less to motivate the hours I spend and the smoke I inhale from soldering new caps and replacing VRAM chips from GPU chip dead cards, and most last their fans or have their heatsinks molested. Maybe I'm retarded and don't know where the real cheap ass high value auctions happen at, but currently I have to nickle and dime everything.
>>
>>62573925
I have no idea how these things work so can't offer you any advice, but good luck mate. Sounds like you can work at a PC shop though and rip off retarded normalfags for computer repair. I had a friend who charged $200 for cleaning viruses off computers with AVs 10 years ago.
>>
>>62573930
It might be more profitable that way, and I know that, but I don't like to interact too much with people or work with the stress that I might fuck up the guy's parts - stress and being rushed makes me fuck up, which I wouldn't like happen to me. I also prefer not to scalp people, but the more I get yelled at by baboons over the phone because dey GPU don work an shiet and getting returns that I have to pay, the more I incline myself to just drop my standards and humanity and milk normies, but there's always a sweet soul once in a while that reminds me that humans still exist instead of humanoid monkeys and I don't want to rob them of their money with bullshit reasons.

Thinking about it a bit more, most people have an acquaintance that knows their way around computers, so the only people I could extract money from are childless boomers or corpos, but I don't want to deal with people IRL as they're too emotional for me and I visibly cringe, which results in a confrontation and loss of reputation.

I am kinda fucked, but I've been planning to start a yt channel as I've started repairing on camera for the last one and a half years, but I feel like I'll be overshadowed by other PC repair channels, especially since my lighting isn't the absolute best and I doubt that my editing skills are good enough to attract attention. I'll try to learn how to edit videos professionally as a hobby first, and maybe afterwards I'll start prepping like 20 vids to have some content in case I haven't managed to edit a video in time for the bi-weekly upload. I'll try to keep different types of common issues on rotation to not be too stagnant, but the uncommon ones I'll attempt to make them bombastic to grab attention, not slop though.

I live in a too small of a town to practice data recovery like Louis, which I thought about before as I managed to recover a bunch of unencrypted quick deleted data, or data from broken HDDs or dying SSDs. I opened one just for the hell of it back in march and I only got a single client from two towns over because he sometimes come physically to an office near me.

I am too stubborn to leave my home and go into a city, so I guess I'll have to figure something out and profit off of it by the end of Q3 to extend my relaxed state, preferably for a couple more years until silver triples again and actually sell part of it this time around, about 10% to 20% to not eat too much from potential profits. I should look more at the market and host a local news parser to see what might be profitable and what might not be, but I'm kinda bad with software and my previous attempts threw up complete garbage. I guess I should trust open source LLMs a bit more, but I'm not that sure about them, and I only know how to code in ASM, BASIC and HolyC (I'm not a boomer, just self taught via a C64 and TempleOS), and most things are in Python or Java or Lua or some other complex language that I can't wrap my head around, and most code written in C or CPP is filled with gibberish and ugly code.

I have some crypto, half BTC, should I sell it to buy stonks to get dividends? I would be ok with 1K a month passive income desu.
>>
>>62574036
Genuinely should not buy coins in the first place, but with how much it has been depleted, I think you should just keep it at this point and hold. If I have to guess it's going to take a while but coins will start pumping again next year. Otherwise you've essentially fallen for the buy high sell low trap.
Dividends also do not give you passive income every month. They give you a fourth of the percentage every quarter. So if you put in $10,000 on ARCC like I did, you would get $250 every 3 months.
Dividends is for when you're bored, old, and retired. You're better off investing in index funds. Go buy SPY every month with whatever you can invest in every month.

BTC is just going to go up in a couple of years. Now it's in a dip, so it's recommended to hold or even buy some more while it's still lowish; buy a third of what you're planning to buy now and the rest if dips below $55k.

Ok thanks. I don't have any accounts besides coinbase. I'll try to look into SPY they just need more verification for stonks.

BTC should go to another ATH sometime. I want to wage less and never listen to the larping boomers ever again like this >>62574178 guy.

They do that with daughters so that they can dump them off on someone else.

I used to talk about that with my youngest bro. He ended up leaving the family and cutting all contact. Hope he made it.
>>
>>62574951
Why? Did your family try to leech money?
>>
>>62574951
Also, you can't find him via searching first name, middle, last name, game tags, online handles, or anything of that sort?
>>
>>62574954
>>62574957
No but my parents raised us as STEMcels and I think he wanted something else out of life

He's not listed on any public yellowbook/etc that I've checked
>>
>>62575017
Ah, probably trooned out if you're stemcels. Just google Lilith + <your last name> and see if anything comes up, Facebook too just to be sure.
>>
>>62575026
Would be hilarious if true, he was the gigachad of the family, 6'4" broad shoulders with a model's face
>>

>>
>>62567622
Very nice.
You were making more than me as a waiter not even counting the Uber Eats than I was as a young engineer with my master's degree working 50 hours but not getting paid overtime because I was on a salary.
