Is America living through hyperinflation? I worked at Starbucks in 2005, and I feel like I made more money doing that job than the $80,000 dollars a year I make now.

It's a very well designed trap that prevents you from saving capital whether or not you get a mortgage. In a stable economy, a person should be able to save up enough money for a house in a reasonable amount of time, lets say 10 years arbitrarily. Not an entire life time.

They went from frozen pizza to Dominos to GrubHub delivery from some artisanal place. Dining out has become a near daily experience for most Americans vs something once a week to never.They went from generic Target cold cream to fancy South Korean snail goo. Luxury brands were something mythical outside of Paris or NYC or LA, not something accessible with a couple clicks. The way people typically live now is way more advanced than the 90s, with just greater expectations generally.

>>62569384Not yet. Hyperinflation builds very gradually. You have a few years of double digit inflation, then a few years of triple digit inflation, etc, etc. You don't go from 3% inflation to hyperinflation in a couple of years
