It's not sustainable military retirement is essentially a pipedream for enlisted. Less than 10% of them make it to 20 years in the service, which is the minimum to draw a pension. I know literally zero enlisted men who made it to retirement. Partial exception for an enlisted guy that got his warrant and retired CW4. Since you can lookup what the current va pay is for 100% disability and the current paygrades it's not hard to infer what rank this guy is. He's either:E8 or above (protip he isn't lamo)CW3 or aboveO4 or aboveGuy is almost certainly a colonel. They gatekeep O4 pretty hard specifically to keep people from becoming career officers who make it to retirement but most officers who make it through that filter make colonel.
