>991m shares hit the market
>180% of the existing ones
>price stable at 110
What kind of israelite magic is this?
>>
Great fucking question

Waiting for my 2x short to buss up so I can take whatever profit I can get and never touch this dogshit again
>>
>>62570025
lets see, maybe they pull an earnings at the after market
>>
>>62569903
and the most disgusting part its started going up at market open(the moment the new shares was eligible to trade)
>>
>>62569903
what is the math behind it? Why didnt they liquidate the shorters at the earnings? Everyone expected an earnings pump into an unlock dump?

>991m shares hit the market
This is where you made your category error. "Unlocked shares" is not the same thing as "shares on the market". They could have been on the market had their owners so desired, but they didn't so desire, so they didn't hit the market. There was never any mechanism forcing them to sell their shares on the unlock date.

It was always a possibility given how consensus the unlocks were. I've seen these play out on shitcoin unlocks as well. MMs will deliberately crime it up to sweep a bunch of shorts. It's going to be a painful ride both directions desu. I think the time to short will be when sentiment reaches apathy

SPCX isn't in the S&P 500 though, which is far and away the most popular fund for 401k's
