You can buy a box from walmart for $100 and sell it second hand to a card shop for $200. You could get a little more if you sell it online but then you need to take the time and effort to ship it. Unless you are already running a business that does online sales it probably isn't worth it. You can hold the boxes to speculate on them but that's the fools move. Nobody knows when the market is going to drop so you should just make your arb while you can. It's also probably not worth driving around town everywhere to find the cards. Doing uber would probably get you a better hourly rate. You should just buy them when you have the opportunity. Overall it's a struggle grift anyway. You're not going to make more than a couple hundred dollars a week doing it.

"scalping" seems dumb. But buying cards or products locally for a discount from pressured sellers and then flipping them slowly at market rate has been a fun side hobby while I wait for stocks to go up.

>>62576586ETBs (Elite Trainer Boxes) are the most desired/easiest to sell. Booster Bundles and Booster Boxes are good too. UPCs are good too. A lot of people are skeptical of loose packs. They’re way too easy to weigh (Holos/valuable card packs are heavier), too easy to reseal and scam people too, etc. If you want to sell packs, sleeved packs and blister packs are the only way to go. There’s no way to accurately weigh them for valuable cards. If you have a ton of loose packs, sell them to rip n ship streamers or peddle them on whatnot. You’re wasting your time and money trying to move loose packs.

>>62578700You can sell that very easily. ETBs have the most liquidity by far when it comes to sealed product and in general. I’d hold on to it for a bit longer if you don’t need the money, it’s only going to appreciate. Wouldn’t fault you for cashing out now though. The pokeball sets on the sides have value too and will vary depending on which packs are inside.

You can sell these easy.Destined Rivals are having a reprint this month so you can expect prices to fall a bit on them temporarily. I’d scoop some up at the end of this month. Charizard box art, good set, decent chase cards>Black Bolt & White Flare Really underrated set, not reprinted into the ground, the set is split into two so it’s unique. >Surging SparksPikachu box art, good set with a few decent chase cards. Always bet on Pikachu. Can list more, but that should get you started. If you have more money to play with and want to maximize gains, you can get Pokemon Center ETBs over the regular ETB. Very rare, more packs, they’re worth far more, just be aware you’re pricing out some potential buyers, but there will always be a market for them with serious collectors. Booster bundles, booster boxes, and sleeved packs of the above are decent too to flip or hold.
