Costco was just one example. Anyone with even a basic education can get a high-paying job in the US with excellent health insurance. You have to actively try to be poor there.
My point is, stop fucking complaining.
>>
>>62575929
You have no idea what the job market is like in the US. Good luck getting a job moving boxes with health insurance if you have a criminal record or haven't already been moving boxes for at least 5 years.

i don't want to defend wagies too much, i have a lot of contempt for them, but this time they're right, i's not easy out there and hasn't been for 20 years, that's why they hate ai so much, more goodies for capital and a threat to them

The interesting thing is that the AI buildout, unlike its closest corollary the British rail buildout, will not be a transfer from middle class speculators to wagies who were later employed by the railroads even though so many failed due to excessive capacity.

Instead it is a pure middle lower transfer to upper.

This will have disastrous implications unless rates rise quickly.
They are trying to, but the government wants to prevent it.

It is some years off, but it will be apocalyptic.

idk, but turns out the winning play was actually SOXL instead of memory. fuck me 50%+ while stupid memory letfs got one big pump only to lose a lot soon after. should've dumped them that day and pivoted to SOXL. wouldve been a +40% fgain followed by soxl getting me a +20% gain. instead those fucking memory stocks pumped and then dumped some while other stuff in SOXL kept on pumping

i wish i did this
>10 years at costco
>6 of those years at $20 an hour full time (just to keep it simple rather than raising it past $20)
>~$290k after tax
man i would have been so much better off in life had i done that. instead i went to college and got a job working in retail after it was over and for worse pay than costco. eventually i got a shitty office job, a costco employee would quickly out earn me. however im in my 30s now. that costco job wouldve made me about a half million by now. combined with my intelligence i could've coasted on stocks with that and not need to wage.
....
maybe i should give up looking for office jobs and just take a fucking stocker job at costco. at least with current wages 10 years of that would be
>~$460k
fuck me, might be time to just get a job stocking shelves, i probably have better odds than all these jobs i qualify for ignoring me.

10 years would get me around half a million. provided inflation slows i can use that money to live off of investments.
>10% = $50k
>15% = $75k
>20% = $100k
though that depends what i invest in or run the wheel on for that matter. say the market dumps hard like 2020?
>exit positions and then all in on UPRO or some other 3x LETF
that'd probably pump my networth by 2x minimum in a single year.

though it does break my personal threshold of
>if you don't make it by X age, then it's time to give up on /making it/ and just be a wageslave
id rather not be stocking shelves in my 40s desu

>BREAKING: The Israeli military has directly informed CENTCOM Commander Adm. Brad Cooper that Israel does not need approval or support from the US to wage war against Iran, adding "we are currently making preparations to start the war," per Israeli Channel 13.

>Israel is preparing for a unilateral strike on Iran as it concludes the US is no longer willing to finish the war on its terms.

>Iran has previously threatened to strike Israel's Haifa oil refinery and Tel Aviv directly as soon as Israel strikes Iran again, with Iran having broken the air defense layer in Jordan and other Arab countries in daily attacks over the last few weeks allowing it to strike Israel more effectively, and with Israel's own interceptor stocks now critically low leaving it more vulnerable.

Anyway I don't think anything is happening, and the xitter accounts are over-reacting to a vague remark from the government.

Consider the following:
DCA TQQQ, BUT also when it dips, buy on margin and when it pumps, sell enough to pay off your margin.
Ez swing trade.
There definitely is a risk to holding TQQQ long-term though. There hasn't been a real crisis since 2008. TQQQ would be obliterated if the stock market dropped by 50% (etfs can't go negative, but the fund would become insolvent.) Crab markets also hurt leveraged etfs.

Leveraged ETFs are mostly for short term holding.
To illustrate:
QQQ = 100
TQQQ = 100
QQQ goes down 10%
QQQ = 90
TQQQ = 70
QQQ goes up 10%
QQQ = 99
TQQQ = 91
So despite QQQ being at the same value in the end, TQQQ is much lower.
Over time, this means leveraged ETFs go DOWN NATURALLY BY DESIGN. So you don't want to just buy and hold it for long periods.

If you want to use leverage on an ETF that tracks the ETF directly, you can buy a deep, long dated call option.
For example if you wanted to buy 200 QQQ, you could instead buy about 400 shares (4 options) of a long dated call (like the farthest out option you can buy) at around half the current price of QQQ.
This will effectively track double the growth (or loss) of QQQ over time instead of daily. Obviously there is more risk since its an option but you can sell it long before the option expires and rebuy new calls at a lower strike to decrease risk if its going south.

By 2026, baseline national averages have climbed significantly: a regular hamburger costs around $10.29 to $10.99, while cheeseburgers and bacon cheeseburgers range from $11.19 to $14.00+ depending on the location.

it was just handwringing before by bears, but now its actually true.

firms have hidden it through imperceptible downsizing, but again, via the diet coke saga I have been going through of them exploding for no reason due to them making the cans ever thinner, no runway is left.

you cant increase the volume of anti-caking swadust in the parm cheese any more
you cant substitute onions stocks into the meat any more
you cant make the cans any smaller

prices need to go up to match the real, unhidden hyperinflation

if you dont (allow the market which they have been suppressing HARD to) raise rates, FASTLY, it will run away to points unseen outside of Africa or South America.

Around 15% would be fair for starters.

I anchored to $20 because that's what jd vance and dan crenshaw and turning point put in the original meme post

inflation is going to be a political issue in the midterms and next election.
maybe someone is going to ask why do stock markets triple every 8 years

and i'll forgive you because you might be some retarded zoomer who never had a chipotle burrito from 2010s when they were actually really good. all zoomers know is enshittified slop

I need my caffine to think gooder.

I'm not paying some Jamaican guy $12 for bean water full of tannins (poison) that will slowly wreck my kidneys while the cafffine speeds up the pulse ensuring less than efficient filtration of that poison.

don't have any trouble believing that.
don't have any trouble believing that spoos will be 50k in 2050 and a sandwich will be $100 then

just wondering what you do about the poors crying that they're being crushed under inflation and can't afford anything.
at the moment the best strategy is to tie cutting inflation to some ugly woke chink screaming about how we need more illegals and trans rights like in michigan but that'll only get you so far

no they won't
everyone wants more affordable burritos and less inflation so all they have to do is to tie the lower inflation policy to the ugliest stupidest pro islamic pro chink pro tranny pro illegal candidate they can find and that plugs the dam for a bit allowing for some more money printing.

but eventually i think that dam breaks, just can't figure out when

check the details of your 401k to see if there is self directed investment option, which means you can transfer the money to schwab or another brokerage to invest in treasuries, MM of treasuries, ETFs and individuals stocks, but there are some limts imposed by your employer for tax purposes and for your protection. You can also do self directed investments in your you Roth IRA, regular IRA and your private brokerage. With the IRAs there are limitations on MLPs and some other stuff for tax reasons but you can apply for options to lose all your money.
