>2022: Elon forced to buy Twitter for $44 billion>2023: Elon founds xAI, whose crowning achievement is Grok>2025: xAI, valued at $80 billion, buys X at a valuation of $45 billion (minus $12 billion in debt)>2026: SpaceX, valued at $1 trillion, buys xAI, now worth $250 billionWhat kind of fuckery is this? How did xAI go from a valuation of $113 billion to $250 billion in a little under a year? Why did he start merging everything?
>>62579498All of his companies are overvalued.

>>62579498>Why did he start merging everything?merging is key to the whole scheme
>>62579498>How did xAI go from a valuation of $113 billion to $250 billion in a little under a year?Twitter, as a social media platform, is not valuable.X, as a collection of data to feed into xAI's frontier model, is quite valuable. This is a case of a business finding a better business model. We're seeing the same thing with crypto miners becoming datacenters/providing compute.>Why did he start merging everything?Vertical integration and protecting/increasing his voting power. His companies are their own biggest customers, which actually isn't a bad thing. That is unless projects like Optimus fail. Merging companies means merging risks as well.
tranny retards will never learn people like musk don't fail
Spent 150 billion and counting so jeets could tweet "sar bloody open" at a chat bot named after a Heinlein word.

>>62579498I think Elon probably has a massive bank of crypto he uses as leverage whenever he needs to buy his stocks. The valuation of a company isn't in its total assets, its worth the value of a share x the number of shares. Elon keeps a lot of the shares in his company, and whenever the price drops he just buys his own stock. The other stockholders don't want to sell a falling stock to drive the price lower because they also hold a lot, and know that the stock will keep going up as long as its believed to be a future value, which is hard to argue against for a tech company that has access to something noone else does, which is Elon's tech ecosystem and empire he plans to expand into space.

>>62579498>buy cake for 8 bucks, sell slices for 4 bucks>market cap of the cake is now 32 bucks>create more slices (cut horizontally and top them with chocolate), cake is now worth 64 bucks>people dont like their slices, buy them back at 8 bucks>cake is now worth 128 bucks
>>62579619He is in thiels group. They are fleecing everyone. Space x is guaranteed infinity bagger. It is better you dont have children, because they are going to bitch at you for not buying any of the 10000x opportunities in the last 20 years. And it is your fault they now fill out captchas for their robot bosses.
