Composition is OK, value is acceptable, everything else is gay, but to each his own. Try painting or drawing from actual nature, not from memory.
I'm a software engineer 10 years and I only made money this year from art. You can do things like paint textures and sell them to people who make games.
In the real world you can sell physical versions of things from games, but you can only do it in person because on the internet there are pajeet companies that go through all etsy listings lookin for their intellectual property and get money for taking offending listings down.
If you're a Jew you're better off changing your name to Zeissmann and being a notary - it's literally a guy who doesn't do shit, just charges for his signature to prove you identified with a real document and signed a piece of paper in front of him.
To make good money from art you need to sell to adults with issues, like fat nerds that collect cards or furries. Your art already looks like furry shit.

I like the little yellow cat

Does this painting have any meaning?
I think the faces don't match the rest of the art.

I like this a lot, OP. I would buy it for a few hundred dollars if I was still employed. Did you really make this?

Pretty nice, anon. Anyone can suck cock but few make a living out of it. Same with art, especially in this digital era. I'd say no

For me, the whole point of chasing money is so that I could do art all the time WITHOUT wanting to monetize it. Can't imagine a quicker way to ruin your passion than to rely on it for survival. But if you can make enough money on the stock market, you might be free to become a full-time creative, and only worry about promoting yourself for the pleasure of sharing your work.
However I've met a few people who make incomes off their art. Mostly people who succeed at this seem to hit the farmers market circuit. Ren faires if you're making something nerdy. Conventions if you're making something niche. That seems to be the core of success from what these people have told me, paying for tent space at one of these events. You also have to become a massive social media whore, because the other half of your income will be through Instagram, tiktok, or whatever other platform can funnel money into your etsy account. This is where it would help to be a hot girl, or at least hot. I know some artists do the Serious Art world with galleries and critics, but I don't know anything about that. I've only ever met people who were able to make it doing the convention circuit+social media. Maybe look into that?

I just have nothing else going on. Good tips though with the convention shit. Also yeah you have to jestermax on social media like crazy.

Do you live in a major city with good atelier programs? If so, definitely do it. If you really want to enter the art world you need to network & schmooze in a major city anyways. Plenty of people make a living, sometimes even a good living, from art. Broke artists, more often than not, are just bad, or live far away from a major cultural capital

if you actually make a living from this garbage then it is another drop in the ocean of proof that there is no justice in the world
