I bought multiple quality top level domains related to a big event next year. I don`t think its a good idea to throw them at the organization behind the event, thinking of selling them to someone looking to profit from the traffic. How would you try to sell them if you were me?

if there are trade mark terms in the name of the website, the rights holder can just seize them from you. most events like F1 and the Olympics are super litigious to protect their brands and their sponsors.
