Kids are a long term investment that pay off later in life, provided you raised them right, they contribute to your business or investments, and you have the right kind of priorities and values. The great dynasties were formed by closely knit families, and fell apart when their values changed and the family dispersed.Planning for your kids to take care of you later in life is a gamble. But so is believing that state welfare will take care of you.
