Reminder that you're living in the best possible era with the highest income in the world.
Despite that, why are Americans such pessimists? Is it social media that is brainwashing people to feel miserable all the time?

>people make more money
>price of everything goes up
economics is truly just magic
Wonder what caused all this(inflation, browns, and 30% of gdp spent on elderly reparations)

This is literally propaganda.
>everything is fine, goy
>be grateful for your 5% raise when inflation is 20%
>you're just imagining that your standard of living is dropping by the day

>The 3 things government effectively controls are the most expensive
Don't worry, the plebs will still beg daddy government to fix all of their problems.

>Overall living standards are higher, but homes, degrees and affordable healthcare remain out of reach for many

huh? do i need to be a scholar of the talmud to understand this?

I make 23.65/hr, live in my own squalor in a 123sqft “efficiency studio for $820/mo, and have a stack of pizza boxes that almost comes up to my waist. The crusty cumsock just lays on the floor next to my bed. The only window is covered with a blackout curtain taped and thumbtacked to the wall

I have a life I can’t show anyone and nobody can be a part of it

I scrub the toilet bowl and shower when it gets crusty but I don’t vacuum the carpet or sweep the floors. I’ll get around to it

No. Subsidies inevitably cause price increases as the sellers will always raise prices in return in order to capture the subsidies for themselves. Homes, college degrees, and healthcare have all been highly subsidized by the government in the last 4 decades, with utterly predictable results.
>inb4 but homes
are subsidized through fannie mae and freddie mack. Back when houses were $40k ($170k in today's money), you had to put 50%-60% down payment to qualify for a loan, and for your troubles you got a loan with an 18% APR for 7 or 15 years max (if you had perfect credit). Home prices increased so that the amount of down payment remained high, and banks maximised their revenue by extending the term of the loan from 7 years to 30 years and "helpfully" lowering your monthly payment a few dollars.

>americans care about
>*checks libtard notes*
>degrees
>uh...healthcare
They care about getting fucking poorer every second of every day day after day year after year as their quality of life diminishes.

They are getting richer but at the same time inequality is getting even more severe.
>>
So even if the average rises dramatically, the median might barely move or even get worse. Meanwhile the richest people rub their lifestyle in your face 24/7.
>>
Non essentials have gotten cheaper, but

>healthcare
>housing
>transportation

has gotten comparatively more expensive and burdensome, meaning it's routinely an issue
>>
>>62583675
>>healthcare
>>housing
>>transportation
all of these are subsidized by Amerigoys and low cost or even free in israel lol
>>
>>62583670
>inequality
such a retard talking point. Wah! I got richer but somebody else got twice as richer! Now I’m sad!
>>

>he fell for the corporations control the government meme
The fact that 99.99% of the plebs agree with you, should tell you you're wrong.

How is your standard of living better if you can't afford a house, an education, or a doctor?

Those on the bottom leg of the K-shaped economy are considered subhuman now. Their only use is raising daughters with daddy issues so they can be used as sex toys for those on the top leg of the K.

Translation from murdoch-hebrewaic:
>Americans got wealthier
wages increased by 0.01%
>but don't feel like it
Inflation +270%
