Wendy's has been in and out of the cycle as the next Wallstreetbets play, so I had stayed out of it for a long time, but after doing in-depth research into the chain's financials, it looks like an excellent play. Company in the gutter, new CEO with a clear mandate takes over who has surprisingly good ideas, and a valuation 1/20th the next closest chain. This could be a real 10-20x over the next couple years, so I went all in and bought 5k shares. There arent many stock plays that have the potential for a crypto-esque return, and this is one of them. Also, there are rumors of taking the company private, which would be an immediate 2-3x in a few months at worst.
