Half a Trillion deficits in just 1 month. How are institutions still lending to US govt for 30Y at just 5%?
entire deficit is gibs to boomersgood stuffTruly that is the purpose of a government, making sure old dementia patients have plenty of spending money
>>62588418This is ending soon. It’s turning hyperbolic now.
>>62588657Does that mean stocks are going up
>>62588418>bring in 9bn in tariffs>spend 29bn on 'other'what did he mean by this
>>62588657>hyperbolicIt's catabolic dumb nigger
>>62588736its catatonic
Why do you think bonds are nearing 5%? They know the inflation numbers are bullshit and the US is running Great Recession levels of deficit trying to barely keep everything together.
Rejoice! You are about to see what happens when MMT meets its asymptote.
>>62588418>174b for medicare>83b for healthI thought Americans didn’t use tax dollars to pay for healthcare?
>>62588782I like that pasta. I use jerk seasoning with it to make a creamy sauce
>>62588418Because every other country endlessly prints money too.
>Medicare and Social Security at the top wtf same as Europe then? I wonder if Canada and Australia suffer from the same thing. Boomers really did a number on the entire western world, you have to laugh to keep from crying!
>>62588858Medicare/medicaid constitutes about 25% of the total Federal budget. It has grown 80% in the last decade and the rate of increase is accelerating.
>>62588880Do you like creamy pasta that has been jerked into?
>>62588954No idea why people oppose socialized healthcare in the US. Everyone pays taxes into it and they never realize it kek
>>62589078Saylor? Is that you?
>>62588782It's electric, boogie woogie woogie
>>62588418
I'm still waiting on my tariff checks promised by Trump. I unironically need that money frfr
>>62588418Kek, wen dump?
>>62588418corporate taxes only 14 billionWhat?
>>62589685Taxes for the goyim, stupid!
>>62588418Aside from the usual ratings rigging and inertia like the HQLA classification for US bonds, financial institutions are pretty much forced to buy bonds at gunpoint.Want to be FDIC insured? Better buy bonds bucko.Want that QE relief on your bad bags? Bonds first. The banks don’t really like bonds because they know it’s an inflation trap and opportunity loss. But they are given enough carrot and stick to keep them buying anyways.Keep in mind that outside the US in other deficit nations it’s even worse. China essentially forces everyone there to buy government bonds by making everything else illegal or shitty.Russia just outright orders “free market” banks to buy government bonds.Eurozone is also pretty bad and rigged. And again, the US is also being terrible about this.
>>62589716Everyone needs $US so morons worrying about it is a waste of time, just get rich bitch
same shit in France the government takes loans to pay boomer pensionsit's going to end well
>we need a business presidentNightmare scenario unlockedThrow a recession on top of this amd it absolutely will crush US fiscal policy moving forward
Meanwhile I am in 20k debt and will be a slave for the next 2 years.Where are my handouts and money printers?

But olds still make up the largest demographic with more than 40% of income security spending, children are less than 27% of spending for comparison.>VeteransOld people who happen to have been zogbots>OtherThe Smithsonian, National Parks, and other things old people occasionally use.>JusticeTo protect old people from urban youths.>TransportationTo move around old people.Fiscally we’re pretty much a retirement home with McNukes stacked on top. You can pretty easily blackpill progressives by pointing all this out to them until they understand that not a single cent will EVER be spent on walkable cities, solar roofs, or whatever it is young/middle aged yuppies are exited about. Even if they vote for their favorite progressive politician to raise taxes it won’t matter, they’ll never get anything back from it.It’s also pretty funny when compared to the line items on China’s budget. Even if you assume 40% of the budget are lies and the other 40% are just graft for CCP insiders (Which is probably true, the CCP does have a lot of billionaires after all). Even assuming that, that’s still 10-20% of spending going to actual infrastructure and tangible things that young and working class people can theoretically use to be more productive, or get a paid a wage to help build it. Which is a hell of a lot more than the American government spends on those things. Both China and the US have the same % of GDP going to their governments ironically enough, so it’s a very apt comparison. One just seems to spend their money more productively.
