I’m ~-25k in realized losses just over 2 years. But I’ve learned important lessons and fortunately I’m not a retard so leveraged etfs/0 dte options weren’t ever considered. Despite this, the loss still stings me deeply, but I consider it an investment into the learning curve of trading if you will. My stock choices have been extremely sound, and if I had held (unlikely to not take profits after a 2x etc) I’d easily be a multimillionaire.

Unfortunately, my biggest downfall was impatience, and experiencing fomo on a few stocks where I should have waited for a large pull back.

Sorry for your loss anon, if I lost that much or lost more than I could afford to comfortable, I’m sure it would be with me for a good decade at least (possibly forever if never recovered/bounced back)

All of my problems come from beginner's cockiness or being retarded and not setting stop losses/limit buys and just yoloing in high because maybe it'll go higher.

For me it's mostly been a waste of time. Had the false hope not been there, then I'd still be waging and thus have more than I've made in all this time.

This could all change if one bet ends up making way more money than what is so far less than simply waging would've gotten me.
