You know what really irks me? When I've got a good play but the play lasts almost 0 time
>get into a play I think might make a good win nonetheless it is still a gamble
>invest like $200
>weeks pass
>stock pumps hard
>like 30 minutes later the entire pump has vanished
>no chance of profiting because I wasn't watching during that short timespan
>lose out on about $2000 in profit
I sometimes wish I lived in Europe. Market hours are during hours I'd be awake and could watch easily. Only real downside being I'd have to stay up late just to watch them close. Fuck, guess it's time to once again start watching the markets the full 6 hours and 30 minutes. You cannot imagine how many times I have lost out on opportunities like this. This also includes when the market does a straight line down and V's right back up 30 minutes later. Those are some of the easiest plays to win on and aren't longer holds like what happened to me today. That's an easy double digit percentage return on an all in, in a day. On the other hand my current play was a bigger but longer time frame gamble. But due to the level of risk I obviously can't just go all for a possible but not guaranteed 10x.

you need like 30km/s to get to and decelerate 20 tons of ore back to earth, to get maybe $1M worth of cobalt from a roid, with multiple in orbit refuelings and probably an even larger rocket design, at a cost of tens of billions.

>President Trump has directed the Navy to abandon the electromagnetic aircraft launch system (EMALS) being used on the Gerald R. Ford class carriers and return to traditional steam catapults, according to U.S. officials cited by the Wall Street Journal.

>Trump signed a national security memorandum directing the Navy to redesign the fourth Ford class carrier, Doris Miller, and subsequent ships around steam catapults. The first three carriers, Gerald R. Ford, John F. Kennedy and Enterprise, will retain EMALS.

>The decision reverses years of Navy and industry resistance to Trump's proposal, largely because replacing EMALS would require significant redesign and could cost billions of dollars.

>Trump has criticized EMALS for years, arguing that it is overly complex and less reliable than steam catapults. The move effectively locks in a major technological reversal for future U.S. aircraft carriers.

True. But look at the chart. Let me clue you into something. Whe it’s going a lot more up than right. You are ALWASY in a highly leveraged phase. Now it may go up some more. But there’s been one minor healthy consolidation in 18 years.

Let’s go down a level. What’s the fuel for this rocket? It’s liquidity. What’s liquidity? Cheap money. That’s low rates on short to medium term credit. So while it’s going more and more vertical. The fuel is getting thinner and thinner. The primary source for the last 20 years for fuel? Japan. Borrowing at near zero in JPY and enjoy multiple x gains in say SPY. Now you multiply it. You use your gains as collateral and borrow again and again to leverage up. So 3% gain becomes something wild depending on how much you borrow over and over.

Now look at the charts. On top. As JP10Y (borrowing money in Japan 10 year maturity) rises. That’s the “cost of fuel” for the journey”. Now the fuel is starting to go vertical. As the leverage “speed of the car” does too”.

So for this to last. Would require a massive reduction in the cost of the fuel (money/fiat/credit). Does it look likely? Now remember. When you are leveraged like this. Small drops can mean that positive leverage reverses just as quick. So everyone is in a hair trigger. And stops get triggered. And the leverage can force selling. Which forces more selling. Because they aren’t able to wait. They aren’t playing with their own money. So at this stage of a credit bubble. Will things can and always eventually do happen.

Charts aren’t perfect. But parabolic curves coupled with parabolic costs of the sustaining fuel is a matter of physics. What you say in July wasn’t the heart attack. It was the first chest pain indicating there’s something wrong.

I’m not saying buy it sell. But it’s coming for sure at some point. And the chart says it’s not a decade away. Probably not 2.

>>
>>62591975
Look at the chart. Do you know what a parabolic chart means? For 18 years. That’s always always always leverage. There could even be another 30%. And it will happen very fast. Next 6 months maybe. But at that point. The chart isn’t up and to the right. It’s up. Just up.

Surely you know enough about charts to know what up up means on a 20 year chart with no real breaks. And the cost of credit rising nearly as fast.

That’s why the US intervened in the JPY. Another 80-150 basic points rise. And those leveraged loans in Yen to buy SPY start losing money in real rates terms.

Institutions don’t fucking wait until then. It’s last out eats the shit sandwich. Just be aware. Real risk is extremely high. So volatility is going to get wild. We saw it July in asia. That’s a sign the heart attack is coming. You ignore chest pains at your peril. But also. It you’re very agile. You can make a fortune on this volatility. But you better be really awake to what’s happening. And if you’re a fucking peon like Baggler and his pals. Smiles can turn into ligature marks on the neck fast.

So be sensible. See the risk. Assess it. And make your bets.

Could do. Again look at the curve. It it does. It will happen soon. But why not 12000? The curve will be so vertical. It will happen sooner than it too to get to 9000. So why not 20000. Do you see?

The faster it happens. The faster it can whip back. And we all now. Markets ALWAYS fall faster than they rise. And if it’s rising like a bullet. It’s gonna fall like a missile. And of course. You will be. Asleep and markets closed when it does. Like a good non-insider boy. Just be careful. That’s all I’m saying. Okay. I'm looking for an ETF, but not just any old ETF. I have very specific requirements.

Requirements:
>must be international only
>must be value
>must be decently sector diversified
>must have 100 or more holdings
>must be underweight tech
And, to dig deeper into what I'm looking for. My thesis is future disruption, and I assume there will be a lot of value traps in the future when disruption peaks. So I'm looking for a value fund that will weed out most value traps.

So continuing with requirements
>must weed out disrupted value traps via whatever means

I have some suggestions of how that could be done. Maye it could be a HALO fund, with heavy, capital intensive assets, and big moats. Or whatever. I don't really care how they weed out disrupted value traps, I just want it to. Without actually just buying growth. It has to be value. Another idea, maybe it could be free cash flow. Maybe it could be a combination of things. I don't care. As long as it weeds out like 90% of value traps.

No clue but I'm starting to suspect that the dumps on semis/memory might finally be over. My reasoning for this is that after that one hard dump followed by a hard pump like 2 weeks ago they've been just crabbing upward overall. I think it's like the boiling crab thing, they're pumping them up slowly so people don't notice and try going all in asap to capture huge amounts of upside. Though I am not 100% if we truly are out of the woods yet.

At the very least I have some leveraged positions so even if I don't buy more into the semi/memory field I will still make big money if they pump it back to ATH again. Iirc these position should yield me like $40k in profit. Though I wouldn't mind going all in and getting a much bigger return if it really is going back to ATH.

for the carry trade to "blow up" japanese interest rates would have to rise (A LOT), the yen would have to appreciate (a lot btw), and the us market would have to blow up, AND there would need to be a liquidity crisis in asia that caused forced selling. all of those things would have to happen at once, and if they did it would still just be a minor explosion compared to whatever catastrophe caused it in the first place. rates going up is a well telegraphed caution flag that everyone in japan sees clearly and nobody is putting more risk on, and all the bets made in the past are massively in profit and just get more profitable the more yen declines and us markets appreciates. every single day the carry trade is "unwinding" as japanese institutions sell us assets at a profit to new investors. bobos have lost their touch, at least fantasize about tsmc running out of helium or something plausible

You can be mad that we got into it in the first place, but being in it, it's always been boots.

Iran knows we'll just *fingers crossed* any agreement we make, so there's no other option.

When I woke up this morning YT was autoplaying some anti-iran think tank stuff on autplay, this is bullish, if they're actually trying to sell it for once that means we may get a real resolution soon.
Its bizarre there's been basically no attempt to market the war/boots outside of flyoverstan.

you should hope that we dont, a actual peace deal means no more market pumping and an actual bear market where SPY dips below 600 will start

Respect but way too Big One minded and old testament pilled. Bearish by nature, making a mockery of true Grace.

I commit greed on the stock market every day as small exercises of my divine right. I am committed to show Mercy. I am doing service to my fellow man by helping him determine fair prices. Every one of my trades is a vote with teeth.

As I remember it he shilled the pico top of banks in 2021 before they all tanked in 2022. I figured this was the bag that drove him insane.

You win some you lose some. I don't even remember what his trading method was. I think it was all vibes.

His main assertion that I remember was Trump = good for stocks. All he was and probably still is a huge DASH baggie. Anyways have you been watching Skhreli’s livestreams? That’s where the action is now. He had some new intern up $10k this week. And then today his short turned on him when SNDK pumped and he lost $75k of Shkreli’s money live. Honestly surprised there’s no mention of it here. Deserves its own thread honestly. Best livestream moment in 2026

>Went to check on watermelon
>One of them looked really good size, about 12lbs already
>Sudden gust of wind
>Knocked watermelon down, part of vine wraps snapped
>Melon fell on ground, looked fine
>But tendril fucking CRACKED from the sudden drop, even leaking now while still mostly attached...............

Well, I'm just fucked, that is a bearish omen to sell everything. Ain't no way that moon stars watermelon will ripen anymore............

I had no idea shkreli was coaching traders on Livestream kek sounds hilarious. I'll check it out. Always thought he was a slimy jew but he is funny and has given out plenty of market red pills.

Every day, someone withdraws all their funds from robinhood, takes a screenshot of their portfolio getting NUKED TO ZERO!!! ITS OVER!!! NEVER TOUCHING LEVERAGE AGAIN!!! and farms an easy 10,000 updoots from the most gullible braindead faggots, who are also our counterparties.

I thought Korean governments fixed things by making it so you have to pass a course before leverage trading?

I wasn't talking about a peace deal.
I was talking about the opposite of a peace deal.

Still in the green for now, and it's the typical "sell-off" before the weekend. I'm keeping an eye out on US markets tomorrow being able to stay in the green until close, and for a pump on Monday before giving more confidence that we're entering another bull rally.

never going to happen, it's not worth trying. No matter how it would go, it would be too likely to be unpopular and lead to a transfer of power in 2028, thus instantly reversing whatever progress may or may not have been made.

Bullish for melons though
