The Eight-Generation Circus

Imagine humanity running on the schedule of a clown circus, except the clowns are armed with birth certificates.
Life expectancy: 30 years.

Congratulations! At 20, you’re already a dad. At 30, you’re a grandfather. The funeral home is basically your family reunion venue.

Then the generational clown car starts moving.

You reach 40: great-grandfather.

You reach 50: somehow, you’re still collecting new family titles like Pokémon.

60: “Great-great-great-grandpa, dinner is ready!”

70: you’ve become less of a person and more of a genealogical landmark.

80: congratulations! You have supposedly accumulated eight bloodlines under your name, assuming everyone survived long enough to keep producing descendants.

And the funniest part? Nobody has time to process anything.

At 15, you’re apparently “old enough to understand responsibility.”

At 20, you’re raising a child while your own parents are still young enough to have another child.

At 30, you’re giving parenting advice to your adult children while your grandfather is looking at you like, “Son, I remember when you were a toddler.”

At 40, your family tree has stopped looking like a tree.

It looks like a collapsing spiderweb.

Every birthday adds another generation.

“Happy 50th!”

“Thank you.”

“Here’s your cake.”

“Who baked it?”

“Your great-granddaughter.”

“WHO IS HER MOTHER?”

“Your granddaughter.”

“AND WHO IS HER FATHER?”

“Your son.”

“Which son?”

“Exactly.”

The family reunion becomes a census.

Someone brings a clipboard.

Someone else brings name tags.

Nobody knows whose cousin is whose cousin anymore.

By 80, you’re sitting in a rocking chair surrounded by descendants from eight different generations, staring into the distance like the final boss of a family tree.

A child approaches.

“Great-great-great-great-grandpa?”

“Yes?”

“Are you actually related to me?”

Notice how ANY mention of link draws long schizo posts or repetitive troon avatar spam

For some reason they are compelled to disrupt any thread that even tangentially relates to link, like this one
