Literally just invest in VTI or VOO and wait, it's guaranteed and stress free money
Why overcomplicate it?

only works for people with a stable good paying job. majority of people here are in their early 20s with nothing to invest on top of that they never learned what delayed gratification is. their perceived way out is gamblemaxx out of poverty. voo/spy is valid just not for this place here.
>>
Been doing just that. I have a VTI portfolio worth $1.8M. thing is, it's extremely boring but stable

the problem is that nothing is guaranteed
the scariest outcome is if in 3-4 years the SNP500 becomes a zombie index
it starts returning 1-3% a year for the next 25 years and wastes your time
what then? you will be forced to wageslave for another 30 years after retirement age

I need a little boost before I move my shit into ETFs. I entered 6 figures territory this year by saving and trading. Now I'm waiting for my long-term single-stock investments to proc properly and then I'm gonna compoundmaxx.

and you believe doing nothing is objectively the move here? you are literally forced to act thanks to inflation and an index fund like voo/spy is the safest bet here (see historic track record). you dont have a crystal ball so its pointless arguing with what-if scenarios.
>>
>>62593221
ok maybe not that low but even a 1% lower than expected return will add 5 years to my retirement age
>>
The dent about to be put in them sometime in the coming years will extend any plans to "index fund and chill" by at least 10 years.

The totally real imminent market crash is totally coming in 2 weeks bro trust me I've been saying this for 15 years but just 2 more weeks until the S&P is worth $0 trust me bro

If I had a high income and permanent career that would be fine.
However, I work a shitty 50k a year job so my only chance is to do more risky trades.

Yes America is putting all of its capital into cash burning AI and has thus far only managed to decrease reciepts due to occupations being deleted. There was better onshoring under Biden then under Trump thus far, even if it were happening bottlenecks exist at the infrastructure level. Bond yields are no longer responding to tweets and Iran claims it will wait out Trump into 2029. I think there will only be a small dip from all of this but the values of return relative to inflation would be as bad as a crash if not worse. Atleast in a crash you can get assets on sale.

If USA/Global economy crashes, then you won't need money anyway, so I don't understand this reddit cope.

If you had x3 income you'd be living same life but you'd buy same shit at x3 the price because your middleclass niggerbrain cannot comprehend opportunity cost and that's why you're struggling on $50k/year,
t. europoor on 20€k/year

I'd like to hear your case for why it won't happen.
Hard mode: Don't cope with money printing.

Because if debt economy collapses, you will be free and this cannot happen.
