What's preventing you from wage-slaving for 10 years while living with your parents, just collecting paychecks while mooching off of them, then investing your wealth in index funds and cruising on growth and dividends for the rest of your life with a retirement age of 30-35?It sounds like the ultimate cheat code, but no one seems interested in it so I feel like I am missing something crucial.
not everyone has wealthy parents
>>62593939Were your parents wealthy until you made it to 18 and a magic switch flipped?
>>62593946No, they just kept creating debt and having less income because they are old (low retirement money + medical bills)
I said your back not your ass. Just wanted me to stare. Squeeze it.
>>62593930The 10 years part.
Nothing, that's what I am doing. The problem is I started too late, my parents are very old and ill. Once they go it will go from investing 90% of my salary to 90% of salary going on bills and investing pretty much comes to an end.
>>62593930>What's preventing you from wage-slaving for 10 years while living with your parentsthats literally what I am doing rn. going to retire in 5-6 years as long as the s&p doesnt shit itself. its a simple life but at least I can see the finish line.
