How much money do you have to make to justify a new car taking into account you would get enjoyment from it? Seems like average person think its either okay to pay 1400 dollers a month for a lifted truck to ride around in the city twice a week or that u need to be making 500k a year to justify a new 40-50k car. Also take into account that high mileage used shitboxes for 3-4k are psyops and not financially good for daily commuters unless they have a lift and took kit in their garage to fix it. Ive been driving them for years and it costs thousands a year to keep running if u are a daily commuter.15 percent of ur paycheck after tac total cost including insurance and gas is what convention says.
Or should be live on beand and rice on our mom's couch making 100k+ a year and invest every single penny? I mean if I did that 10 years ago I wouldn't feel the need to even consider the finances if I wanted a new 40-50k car
>>62597588But im much more dead on the inside now, I didnt need a new car in my 20s just to feel something. If I wait till im in my late 40s a Bugatti would probably barely make me blink. I mean i could just sacrifice myself to a mundane life for genertional wealth but my kids would not appreciate it since they would grow up financially well off. Seems like no matter what u do its a fuadtian bargin in this world
