I will be 42 in 5 months, and still won't have made it.
>>
Based elder /biz/ poster. I’m 37 and haven’t made it, but I’m feeling good about the next few years despite the hell that’s coming. Any wisdom to share old wise one?
>>
I’m 32 and actually lost money

I always thought I'd make it
But never knew I'd let it get so bad
Livin' with myself is all I have

I feel NUMB
I can't come to LIFE
I feel like I'm frozen in TIME

Livin in a world so cold...
Wastin' away...
Livin' in a shell with no soul...
Since you've gone away
Livin' in a world so cold
Countin' the days...
Till Bitcoin pumps again....
Till Bitcoin pumps again....

You always talking about beating somebody ass. YOU NEED SOME DICK STOP FRONTIN STANK BUTT.

I think Prighozin was older than you when he founded Wagner. Food for thought.
>>
>>62597877
how's he doing now?
>>
>>62597817
If you were 26 in 2008 you should have had a decent job at that point and as soon as you heard about bitcoin you should have been investing. I was only 15 at the time and didn't have money to invest, then the job market was already shit by the time i graduated. I've still managed to accumulate 4k link and live on my own and pull girls sometimes but i still consider myself a failure. idk what ill do if im 40 and still working. I used to tell myself if i hadn't made it my the time i was 30 i would kill myself.
>>
>>62597881
I bought bitcoin in 2013 but got FUD'd by MtGox.

I’m 35 and I make 23.65/hr as an overnight security guard who sits at a desk and does nothing.

It takes less effort everyday to shake off the feeling of being sorry for myself and smugly shitpost about how I used to get so much pussy 10 years ago, than it does to pursue any kind of avenue to increase my income and make my life better.

I’ve been doing this for 10 years now, so I that’s enough evidence that this is going to be the rest of my life
>>
>>62597908
i used to sleep for 60% of my shift when I worked as an overnight security. 25% was spent watching tv shows and gaming and smoking weed, and 15% was working but very half assed work.
>>
>>62597917
Yea so that’s cool and I get it, but I was more focused on the fact that I’m 35, terminally lazy, and what that foretells for my future (I already know, but I like being told by other people)

Thanks.
>>
>>62597817
Damn. I'm 30 and i'm starting to get scared. I round-tripped 150k last bullrun, which was like 40% of my nw at the time. I wish I didn't.

However, more I read about people that made it... shit flips for them in 1-2 years. That's all it takes, 1-2 good years. So i'm holding on to hope for the time being.

I hope you guys are in mid six figure hell at least, then maybe you'll make it when you hit 50
>>
>>62597817
I'm 18
>>
>>62597961
I reckon you didn’t go to college. I spent my 20s barely getting by paying off student loans and only have obtained the capital to really take some risk investing in recent years.

>>62597965
170k HYSA, 100k PMs, 25k and adding in crypto. I’m not getting a mortgage you guys. Retirement accts between spouse and I around 300k but I’m not expecting to ever see that money because there isn’t gonna be a stock market in 10 years, let alone 20/30. I’ll buy a house and chickens and land in a couple years when I make it. Best of luck anons
>>
>>62597968
The face when I was given 20k from parents and no rent stay at home and had plenty of money to invest and am only around 700k net worth at 32 years old…..

Work your ass off and dont say no.

Problem members get comfortable start saying no. And wonder why the phone stop ringing. Build for retirement or go on vacation with these guys you cant have both.
>>
>>62597817
When I graduated and got my big boy job, my napkin math predicted that I'd have $1 million by age 40-42. I managed to do it by age 32 and early retired with $2 million at 36.
>>
>>62598083
Hey god father miss you too asshole. Round
>>
>>62597881
What’s your link prediction my man? Was up to 5k and sold down to 1k, realized 20k loss but saved it from being a 40k loss. starting to reaccumulate now
>>
>>62598088

>>
>>62597860

>>
>>62597817
Are you literally me?
>>
>>62597817
i'm 37 and i haven't made it. i don't even have any idea of how i could make it.
>>
>>62597897
should've held, and even then you also missed ethereum and chainlink's first wave and countless others. i also missed those too which is why i consider myself a failure, but that doesn't make your situation any better.

>>62597946
thats because its retards who are only making a few million and retiring on basically nothing a year who then have to eat into their savings when they realize that no, $40k a year after taxes is not enough to live comfortably on in any city. you really need to make at least $10 million before taxes, pay your taxes, and then put at least $5 million in dividend paying investments or savings accounts to actually maintain any level of 1st world modern comfort. your other option is to take your 1-2 million to the third world and try to live like a king, but if you commit any crime, or any crime is committed against you by a national, you're absolutely fucked with nothing left in a country that doesn't care about you.

>>62598088
i am praying that the elder memes are true and it goes to $1000, i think if it breaks that it'll absolutely peak around $1200, but the important thing is this might happen before bitcoin moons, meaning if you flip all your chainlink profits into bitcoin you can still make it if you wait another two years
>>
I am 37 and will never make it as I earn below average wage in bongland, but I have been investing for about 10 years now and I will get some inheritance so I may not have to work till I drop.

There are millionaires on this board who still haven't made it and probably never will.
>>
>>62598601
just want to point out that many of these anons regrets are from not doing what i said to do; once LINK moons before everything else you need to sell, keep half in cash for taxes and play money, and reinvest the other half into BTC/ETH and maybe some other shit coins if you're feeling lucky, but if you're going in with 7 figures even one 10x will mean you really, actually made it. do all that, or just hold link and wait for it to moon again, which it will. these anons are all holding 100k LINK stacks, if it goes to $1000 they'll be extremely rich.

>>62597992
I am a poor loser, and have suffered enough. Why must you be so mad and hateful for somebody that has lost at life?
>>
>>62598883
I like this troll.

40 years old here. I made enough money to retire comfortably in my shit third world country. I'm a NEET. Thing is, sometimes I see myself in the mirror and it feels kinda sad thinking this is my life. I will not study abstract things like chemistry or biology and make a living out of it. I don't have a career. At some point I'll be a 54 years old faggot with no job, just living a senseless existence eating, breathing, watching slop, sitting in the same chair doomscrolling, playing chess, drinking coffee until and I die. I have hobbies, i love to read and learn things, but still. But god id rather die like this than waging for mr sheckleberg and dealing with subhuman niggers every single day
>>
>>62597897
Damn, I got fugged hard by Bleutrade.
Never spent a dime on crypto, just e-begged my way into holding 3 ETH (worth $18 at the time) and began trading shitcoins for fun.
Ended up with 300 ETH (and 300k DOGEcoin) and was ready to pull out in 2017...then got rugpulled.
The feeling of "could have should have" hits me sometimes, but I've always been impoverished, never made more than 30k/year and I'm almost 40 now.
Wat do? I still have a full head of hair and great health, but I live in a storage container and have no savings. Is it time to register a business and lie my ass off for gibs?
I am worried all of my regrets will really come crashing down on me once I start balding...
