What is your exit strategy? I have read enough of literature and watched enough material about entries, i got really good at entries, but i cant find anything compelling about exits.

Heard that. I go off vibes. Don’t set targets like “when X is up 10%, I’ll sell a quarter of my position”. Interested in some other anons on the topic though so have a bump good sir

You can either take profits early (and potentially miss out on a huge pump) or you can rely on market divination to decide whether to stay long, exit, or set a stop loss and wait and see what happens (and potentially lose money if the technical indicators or trading patterns fail.)
Trailing stops are great for longer-term trades. Let your winners keep winning until they stop winning.

Yeah, i already sell 1/3 of the position if the price closes below the 10 SMA, and full if it drops below the 20 SMA. But sometimes i miss big runs, so i wondered if there is a better way to model exits.

Depending on the timeframe you're using, some decent rules are when it drops below the vwap or the 9 ema, something along those lines. Maybe when the 10 ema crosses the 20 ema downwards. Everybody has their own rule(s)
