Youth unemployment is 27%.
>>
That low? What monster is employing children?
>>
>>62602751
why is that bad? Everyone is complaining about food and grocery prices because they’re trying to keep up with the joneses and ignore the fact DoorDash costs 3x as much as going to the restaurant. But they still do it because they have more disposable income. That same income lets kids not need a job. Things are literally getting better but our brains makes us believe everything is falling apart. Which ironically is the reason why things keep getting better
>>
>>62602764
Things are getting much better in Jerusalem I agree.
>>
sorry that was me, I bought bitcoin in 2019
>>
>some retard tells me when he was MY age he just went back to community college for a new degree to get his foot in the door
There is a huge refusal from gen xers and boomers and I wanna say some older millennials to understand how utterly fucked the job market is these days.
>>
>>62602809
I do have sympathy for millennials, they entered the job market right around 2008. But they also benefited from a decade of 0% interest rates and bought a house at 2% in 2019 so I cant feel entirely bad for them.

>DoorDash costs 3x as much as going to the restaurant
This is simply not true. I went through all my doordash receipts and the delivery service cost $8 on average. If you spent $30 on doordash $22 went to the cost of your meal, not any special delivery upcharge.

The actual fuck are you talking about, who the fuck was buying a house in 2019?
Every last thing is just jackasses making up fake shit to support their argument or begging people to pretend the market still works, when it hasn't for 15 fucking years. The job market never recovered after 2008 but everyone is trying to gaslight me that every industry was like the california bay area Software industry.
>>
>>62602751
So? This information is useless without any definition of youth or any data on what the unemployed people are doing.
>>
>>62602764
What is this meme that comes up every time someone talks about the economy claiming everyone is using doordash or other random bullshit like getting starbucks every day. The people who are actually struggling cannot even consider that and are still poor as fuck.
>>
>>62602751
Youth ends at 40 tho
>>
>>62602832
what are the neets doing?
>>
>>62602971
What does NEET stand for? Not everyone who is unemployed is a NEET. Most are ET.
>>
>>62602994
Most youth are not in education or training
>>

Says you?

I'm about to buy a 650k house at 29, I just can't imagine most people in my neighborhood being anywhere close to this. I have like 1 other friend who isn't an idiot with money and he bought a 450k house
>>
>>62603094
I'm an idiot with money and. I'm on track to reach the same point as you because I make a lot. It's always easier to increase your earnings than to cut expenditures, e.g., order takeout and work freelance instead of cooking. An hour is worth $40.
>>
>>62603114
No an hour is worth $68.50

There are things we poors see and deal with you will never understand. I feel closer to like Moldovans in the way I grew up sometimes. Congrats to you. I'm on my way to clock in for nothing.

Based but it should be 100%. Youth should be making money by selling stolen datacenter gpus for crypto
>>
>>62603094
you are going to get a mortgage, the house will be owned by the bank

>>
>>62602751
We only count people who are looking for a job.

Real unemployment is probably twice that number
>>
>>62602832
Yes it's funny isn't it
If you were underemployed at 25 in 2020, now you're 32, you're no longer 'the youth' but still underemployed so they will gaslight you and say "lots of people your age are doing well"

Even though shit is super fucked
>>
>>62603382
they're posting in the middle of the night most likely they're neets larping as 'money having billionaires' because this board sucks and is useless for all discussion now.
>>
>>62605191
>I have been unemployed for 7 years
I think that the government should be able to put a bounty on you. Maybe it could be a jobs program!
>>
>>62605195

No I make $10k a month after taxes
