>>62607232If you can’t live with your parents you could find a decent house share situation. I rented a house with two other randos from Craigslist and they were both nice, decent people. I had my own bathroom and I didn’t mind sharing the kitchen/common areas. A coffin studio would have been at least $400-500/month more and that made a huge difference to my non-existent savings at the time. Plus utilities were a bit less with split internet and whatnot but that’s going to vary. You could end up with a psycho but if the roommates want to meet you before they agree to share that’s usually a good sign. I wouldn’t want to go back to that now but when I was struggling to get on my feet after school it was a good fit. Even if you’re an autist you can just say hello in the morning and hide in your room the rest of the day.
