I bought an Iphone 17, upgrading from an old Samsung XCover 5. However, I haven't even unboxed my new phone because I feel guilty. My two roommates both study computer science and when I mentioned that I want to buy an Iphone they completely shit on me, insulting Apple as a company, insulting their userbase, calling me stupid for even thinking about buying stuff from them.They both use a google pixel with graphene OS. They also constantly shit on me for using Windows, they both use Arch Linux.I am just a boring accounting student. I just wanted a nice phone for once but I don't think I can live with everyone hating me once they see it :(

The iphone experience is a billion times better if you just accept it's a normie smartphone and not a mobile computer replacement. You did however fuck up getting a brand new 17, you could have gotten a used 14 or 16e for far less and you would have no idea you don't have the newest model
