The early 2000s were great years to be alive but I would rather go back to the 90s. 9/11 really fucked things up on a global scale. Not just that but everything just progressively got worse and society continued degrading from there. But yea early 2000s I had a comfy part time job close to my house and the work/life balance was perfect. I had enough free time to do whatever I wanted without feeling rushed and the job I had was physically demanding so it kept me in shape. It was also a time when the internet was still fresh and gaming was good. I genuinely feel bad for the newfags who had to grow up around social media and 24 hour news cycles.
