It’s not every human endeavor tho be it, ai is fundamentally quantitative so there is still the qualitative half of human endeavor I think this will be another creative renaissance where people are freed to gain deep, wide-ranging knowledge and high skill in many different fields, bridging the arts, sciences, and physical pursuits
The only useful work AI can do are coding and math with LLMs, everything else is either irrelevant to humans (like chess bots when people still play chess), worse than a human would do (name your flavor of AIslop), or impossible to do without a human (higher level design/engineering and pretty much anything physical).The transformer model is not the key to superintelligent AI, and when enough people figure that out the crash will be apocalyptic.
