this is what kills me. every manager and ceo in my company is an absolute retard who knows nothing about running a business or what our company does, they're all just business major assholes who think they know about making money. they're going to run the company into the ground soon.
>>
I never worked at a job that required a degree, so by far the worst aspect of working was the people I had to work with. I worked those jobs until I retired at 32 off crypto.
>>
>>62618622
Minimum wage retards are a nightmare to work with
It's basically still high school for them

Working was fine for me up until last year. My company went from 3/12s to 5/8s. Zoomzooms ate it up whining about working too many hoirs at once, but most Gen X and Millennials quit. I'm quitting next year. Was a decent job for a few years. We used to get ok raises, but this year wasn't even 3%.

I'd rather work in a wagie cage for 3 days a week at some corporate hellhole than work 5 days a week. 5 days a week is for the goodest goyim that hates his family and home life.

Gen X management is no different from boomer management. They hate their employees and will do everything they can do prevent raises and allow them work/life balance.
>>
>>62618495
in retrospect the sleep deprivation was the worst part. it's very unhealthy and the main reason I do not plan to get a job again.
>>
>>62618717
>5 days a week is for the goodest goyim that hates his family and home life.
Truth
Everyone I know who willingly works 5 days is a brainwashed slave with an empty life, and quite frankly some of them came off as really psycho
>>
>>62618724
Chronic sleep deprivation completely destroys your life. It's devastating.
>>
>>62618578

but anyways, i have to go with the social stiffness and constraints beyond all else. i hate how i'm supposed to act and the social confusion. its by far the worst aspec

>>
>>62618819
I have been chronically sleep deprived for 17 years. I survive off of around 4 to 5 hours of sleep on most nights.

>>
>>62618717
I don't know what specifically happened last year but it seems like every company just went completely insane. Yeah there were obviously assholes in management before but they didn't used to actually treat us like slaves. They seriously believe that they own you or something. It's bizarre and inescapable even at a part time job flipping burgers.

I guess they're just really scared of AI taking over soon.
>>
>>62618495
Literally just getting up in the morning.
Seems like I went straight from school into an endless series of morning jobs. I'm a night person. I was exhausted for the first 28 years of my life.
>>
>>62618495
Burning your life doing nothing of value. Realizing that you're working a bullshit job, but anything more real will pay less. And after spending 8 hours sitting there it's hard to do anything in the remaining hours.

Also realizing that the large company is retards doing retarded things and I am a cog in their retarded machinery, but it is also the most money efficient thing I can do with my time
>>
>>62618495
>Now work free and sitting on $800k
The commute. 3 hours a day of - Leaving home at 6:15am and arriving just in time to start 8am shift. And then the reverse at 5pm.
>>
>>62618495
Last year I walked away from a career that paid me almost $200k a year and then I fucked off to SEA. The money was good and work itself wasn't bad on most days but those were hours (38-45 per week) of my life I could never get back. Now I have time to hit the gym religiously and focus on my hobbies and gf.

>overnight security guard at mag7
>schedule is Fri-tues 10p-6a
>take public transportation to get there so I have to disassociate from my surroundings because everyone is outside going out and having a good time while I’m alone otw to work
>work in a rich area
>get to see rich normies out with their hot girlfriends as I walk into the office
>sometimes some of the employees are still in the office with their girlfriends
>tonight I had to go to a different floor to use a coffee machine because this guy and his girlfriend got to it first and I didn’t want to stand around alone nearby
>smoke cigarettes in the parking garage to avoid smoking outside on the street with Normies everywhere

The only upside is I don’t have to interact with anyone and I do nothing all night. I wouldn’t be able to tolerate it otherwise.

My life sucks

It was really fucking hot when 30's housewives used to molest me during work, but yeah 70 year old women molesting me doesn't sound that exciting. 60's maybe.
>>
File: power.jpg (194 KB, 1918x1079)

>>62621674
The molesting wasn't openly sexual. They just followed me around, complained endlessly about how shitty their newlywed husbands were, kept saying how I would be such a great husband, saying I "must be having so much fun" at my age (I was in my early 20's), etc etc.

They always stared lovingly into my eyes when I talked to them. They wore really revealing clothing and occasionally slowly looked back with an "I know you're looking at my body" look with a smile. Damn. In the end we were all honorable people so nothing happened, but I just felt bad for their husbands, knowing their new wives have zero respect for them. They're Beta bucks, basically.

Man, for years I only jerked off to milf porn because of those women. Now I'm just a balding 30 year old.
>>

I'm still a wagie. I work an email job at a tech company. I haven't done much of anything the last 4 months and no one has noticed. It's still hell because I have to just sit around for 8 hours a day.

>>
>>62618495
I really really hate going to sleep or waking up based on somebody else's schedule.
There's almost no amount of money that beats being able to go to sleep and wake up whenever your body wants to. My fucked up sleep was the absolute worst part about working and I'd become a zombie.
>>
Security guard reporting… I love my job. First job I didn’t dread getting up and going to work.

a few years ago my $12k bonus target paid out at $3.5k because executive retards fucked up big time and it tanked the metric that guides our bonus payout. so i would say: being beheld to the decisions of people who are massive retards.

i work in a warehouse

probably the feeling of being an actual human robot, and the toll lifting 50+ lb items for 10 hours a day does makes you sleep 17 hours once you finish the week. also the fact that i only make 32000 dollars and how stressful it is just to get to fucking work. god its so fucking stressful and tiring. tired every single day of the week except for 1.5-2

i dont know what the fuck to do !
>>
>>62618495
I'm still a wagie - it's relatively comfy remote role. But in general, the worst part about it is being a slave.
>>
Here we go on no particular order:

Realizing how much money a megacorp can piss away being wasteful and retarded.

Getting forced to go into the office just to take a fucking teams call I could do from home.

Working on projects that will be a commercial failure, and only exist to make a MBA look better because he can claim he "released a product".

Watching retarded MBA's blindly chasing trends to try and boost stock price, with no understanding of the trends they are chasing.

At least my manager is a pure paper pusher who doesn't understand the details of what I do. Thus, I can really slack off, browse the chan and watch YouTube to kill the time.
>>
Full time waging and having kids left me a husk. The amount of actual free time drops to zero. You dont even get to have fun with kids. Id come back from work, eat something with the family and then put the kids to bed all in my work clothes still. Then its a shower, some chores and by the time i was into watching an episode of something with my wife id already be half asleep.
Weekends are then reserved for all the things you didnt manage to do during the week. In my case I also had to work half a day on Saturdays.
After doing that for a couple months you start to depersonalise. It also fucks up your marriage.

Maybe things wouldve been better if we had an extended family and support network but I think we arent alone in being atomised people.
>>
Getting home so tired at the end of the day. I did manual labor so I was trying not to fall asleep on the drive home and would immediately sleep after each shift. I really liked my coworkers they were fun to hangout with, our manager was cool and our boss was tolerable but I am exhausted at the end of the day.
>>
>>62625839
Finally a fulltime wagie with kids who is honest. Most people on here want you to willingly become a slave like them and breed. The truth is, being a fulltime wagie with a wife and kids is an absolutely brutal existence if you value your freedom and time.

I got pretty high up in a corporate financial analyst role. The hardest part for me was being given an impossible task on a tight deadline that I knew would end in failure. I like doing a good job and not disappointing people, so knowing it was doomed to fail from the start was tough. Point of failure was almost always messy, inaccurate and incomplete or missing data
t. sensitive anon
>>
>>62625945
I have 2 children and they're great. Watching them grow and playing with them is one of the best things in my life. I'm in medicine though with 400k income and 4m net worth at 40. I cut down to 30 hours a week just so I can spend more time with them. Parents are retired and babysit twice a week which is also a huge plus. If you grew up in a degen household I can see how life can be much harder.

by far having to deal with customers.
