I believe it is as follows

Trump wants lower interest rates (cheaper to borrow money) Fed says no. Trump gets a new guy in.
Gov begins buying back US debt bonds, They can print more worthless money to pay off this debt.

I think they are trying to lower interest rates which means your money grows faster in stocks and crypto instead of sitting in a savings account
