yeah? this data can be found in every decade. 95-97% of investors lose money.
Long term people lose because of same reasons as short term but it takes longer.
depression and job loss forces people to sell at the bottom or fear kicks in when everything seems bad. biggest mistake is when someone stays locked in till 60s and then shit hits the fan. you cant wait it out.
