Is starting a boat rental business by the day in Croatia worth it? I have about 100k euros liquid and some low level connections on the croatian coast so finding stuff like a place to store the boat during the off season or hiring a skipper to do excursions wouldn't be too much of a problem.

If you are not a juiced in local don't even bother - your low lever connections will rob you blind, do not expect any balkanos to do any actual work for you in any way shape or form, they only work for themselves and even that is mostly make believe

>>62626206Croatian here... i'd say its not worth it.There is a shitton of boat rentals around the sea in every single village and if you dont have local connections you will be chased away by them and their local buddies.Also, dealing with the government, taxes and shit is pure chaos, if they want to, they can always find something to fine you for.And on top of that, the boat will work at most 3 months per year - if we are being generous, the rest of the year it will rotting and/or rusting away somewhere.In general, i'd stay the fuck away from croatia - everything went to shit due to inflation in the recent years and the local tribes are really fucking teritorial and will fuck you up unless you pay them.
