It makes you poorer because all you're doing is concentrating on lack and poverty all day and that's training your brain to subconsciously associate with and attract more lack and poverty. If your goal is to scratch and save to make sure you have enough to pay your lousy bills, then you'll achieve your lousy goal and nothing more.
