"Through Chainlink Data Feeds, builders across the Base ecosystem have access to continuous pricing forCoinbase's tokenized stocks, including NVDAc, METAc, AAPLc, GOOGLc, and more. >chainlink reserve
You can't be serious. The reserve is clearly a baggie pacifier. A real consideration of token holders would be a real staking update, not "we're buying tiny amounts of link so we can keep dumping on you in an undisclosed later date"
>>62628030
Yes, I'm aware of PAL. So far it created zero buying pressure on the token.
So obviously it doesn't benefit me as a token holder.

>staking update
>buy backs of Link token
there's already staking and monthly $3 million buy backs, but you want an update?
Would you instantly change your mind if the staking got an update?
>>
>>62628001
Ok thats cool and all but... uhhh... price?? Oh... and.. chart?????

Im getting real tired bros, what the fuck are waiting for? Why aren’t we at $100 already?I don’t want to hear any clarity act cope.

>>62628023
This uses Chainlink nodes, and they must be paid in Link.

>there's already staking
That secures a single eth/usd feed on ethereum. There are many more services that chainlink provides.
The fact that it's still at v0.2 and securing only a small fraction of the services, makes it seem like they're pivoting away from the token as an integral part of the network.
>monthly $3 million buy backs
1. The dumps outpace the buybacks by a huge amount
2. There is no clarity regarding their off-chain revenue so the buybacks could be pocket change they throw at it, so advocates have a talking point
3. There is zero guarantee that they won't dump these tokens back on the market when it's profitable for them

>Would you instantly change your mind if the staking got an update?
Absolutely. It would signal that they are not abandoning the token in favor of a regular fiat-based business.
I am eagerly waiting for this announcement because I have been holding for years, and as time goes by it starts feeling as if we've been duped into financing their operations.

>>62628127
>This uses Chainlink nodes, and they must be paid in Link.
I know. But... what's stopping chainlink labs from moving onto a usd based model? Nodes get paid in usd, nodes stake usd, etc.
The feeds will cost $150/month. Notice the $ sign. It's dollars, not LINK. Do we know for certain that this will be converted to link via PAL?
>>
>>62628159
>what's stopping chainlink labs from moving onto a usd based model?
What's stopping Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, ... from doing that?
>>
>>62628159
>Do we know for certain that this will be converted to link via PAL?
Yes.
Even you know this must happen, since you JUST acknowledged that Chainlink nodes MUST be paid in Link.

You're a paid liar. Every single day you're in here doing this exact same spiel.

>What's stopping Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, ... from doing that?
Technically nothing, but they're completely different types of projects.
Also,
>doesn't answer the question
>answers a question with a question
>brings up other projects when the discussion is about chainlink (deflecting)

>>62628226
>Yes.
You're speculating. You don't really know that.
>Even you know this must happen, since you JUST acknowledged that Chainlink nodes MUST be paid in Link.
I hope you're right.

>You're a paid liar. Every single day you're in here doing this exact same spiel.
Nothing I said was a lie, since I didn't make any concrete statements. The concerns I'm raising are the same concerns link holders from CT are raising daily.
If anyone here is dishonest, it's you. You ignored the rest of my lengthy post and cherry picked a single sentence with an answer no one here can verify.

>>
>>62628252
>Technically nothing
Exactly.

>You're speculating
I'm really not.
Nodes must be paid in Link, this is an irrefutable fact.
And every single Chainlink product uses the nodes.

Attention all linkies, baggies and fourth industrial resolution shills reading this

Have you no shame, no decency, no morals or soul? If you stay your course and don't repent and turn away from your grievous sins, your souls are consigned to hell in the afterlife for your despicable, disgusting and evil acts in this life.

No one likes you, appreciates you, looks up to you, respects you, or can even stand you. Everyone hates and despises you and has nothing but disdain and contempt for you, even the genocidal tyrants whose eager enforcers and accessories in genocide and crimes against humanity you are. You are despicable evil. You are revolting to all decency and morality. You are a disgrace and a stain on history. You are foot soldiers and cruel attack dogs of murderous despots. Your names and memory will live in infamy. You will be pointed to as examples of the worst dregs of humanity

Linkies will stand trial at Nuremberg 2.0 and be hanged for their heinous complicity and accessory to genocide and crimes against humanity as well as their loyalty to genocidal tyrants.
Everyone alive to witness Nuremberg 2 will cheer your sentencing and rejoice at your execution. No one will come visit your graves, which will be nameless, or lay flowers for you there, not even your spouses, parents or children. They will be ashamed to have been related to you, married to you, descended from you or to have borne your name.

Stop. Think. Reconsider. Repent. Denounce Chainlink and ask for forgiveness for all the evil you have already committed.

Apologize to and ask for forgiveness from the innocent anons you've been oppressing, repressing and persecuting.
Resign or reverse course and help the resistance against the Great Reset which is unfolding while there is still time to make a difference and before you have even more innocent blood on your hands

And they sell the link
The token does not need high value for the services to function.
>>
>>62628729
>nodes can sell rewards!
So can nodes for Bitcoin, Ethereum, Solana, ...

You keep bringing up "fud" that applies to 99% of crypto.
>>
>>62628729
they're incentivized to hold because they have more collateral for higher value transactions
>>
>>62628159
>The fact that it's still at v0.2 and securing only a small fraction of the services, makes it seem like they're pivoting away from the token as an integral part of the network.
that's a weird thing to say since it is literally required for all network functions
>>
>>62628877
As it stands Staking is only for the Eth feed. Are you being purposely disingenuous?
>>
>>62629303
no, the chainlink coin is required for every single thing the network does.
>>
>>62628159

so the oracles will be dependent on the whims of the forex market? i don't think so
>>
>>62629387
Oh yea that part is true and fudniggers are butthurt their 6 year long “token not needed” campaign was a ruse.
>>
>>62628742
These are blockchains, not middleware. You keep using arguments as if the underlying asset is the same and has the same function. Middleware is not a chain and vice versa.

>>62628757
That would require an improved version of staking.

>>62628877
The dollar is used to transact for all kinds of things. It is required even, to get access to certain markets. Its has lost nearly all its value since incenption.

Forcing use does not make it have value

Tapers off in absolute terms an completely stops in 2030. Nothingburger.
>>
>>62628127
Sergey charges them $100 usd and pays the node from his uncirculated stack he minted for free, the node then dumps this link on the market for cash and the circulating supply increases.
>>
>>62628127
and they must have some reason to hold onto this link such as it being used as collateral for services in order to make data buyers trust them?
>>

Here come the semantics.

You're a paid shill, but the videos you (always) post illustrate the brainlet audience you're aiming at. It's always guys just saying handwaving things. Things of no substance. But, because the images are of smart looking men sitting in front of an audience and seemingly "experts" you are fooling people into thinking what they are seeing is meaningful. Throw in some technobabble and you have the retards on the hook for a few more weeks. You are a terrible person who really deserves cruel punishment, and I hope you are seriously, irreversibly injured one day.

There is the dodge
They dont have the same function, the same tokenomics nor same issuance. They are not interchangeable. The way you advocates dartle around the point is so ogre.

There is no reason why link should have a higher price.

Yet not a single bit of that "$100 MILLION+" they claim to have made goes through it, or will go through it.

Great, so we'll only dump 10% this time instead of the usual 20-30?
