I don't get why people on /biz/ hate Polymarket. In my opinion it is the easiest (and only) place where you can reliably make passive money since Trump came into power.
>>
They are selling dollars for 50 cents in the Paxton vs Talarico market

tell me more.

>people on /biz/
There are like 10 posters here who actually trade
>>
I have my own $80k-$130k a year passive income source that doesn't involve luck or competing with bots. Enjoy pissing the pennies you barely have away gambling.
>>

>I definitely have a 100k$ per year passive income
>No, I won't elaborate, but I definitely have it!
kek, please stop the larp
>>
>>62639128
i'm jealous. 4% guaranteed passive income is like 2-3 million in a CD or bonds.
>>
You are picking up pennies in front of a steamroller, my retard.

At least get into options wheeling if big gains are not your thing

Made some easy money betting on DotA TI.
People were completely coping, the game was all but lost and prices were still at 80cents victory instead of 99.
Didn't bet on the finals because they were too close, but the guaranteed games made me a bit of change.
I also made an easy bet on something that was like "Will Trump allow Iran to enrich uranium by date? Yes or No?" Obvious Yes.

But overall is not a good method, you risk 100% to get 30% at best, and while esports results are stable I don't trust other contracts to not have a sneaky technicality
And even for a lost game of DotA, a throw-back is never really out of the question, imagine risking U$10000 to get U$3000 and you lose it all because a zoomer missclicked his BKB.

It is not pennies, if you look at the image you will see I made 2x the investment.
I just don't have a lot of money to invest, yet.
>>
>>62639275
You realize that you can sell the shares you buy ;)
It is nothing more than a stock market. except that this stock market doesn't move all at once.
>>
>>62639306
You can't really.
Suppose I got shares for Dendi winning at 80cents when game felt safe
I can't list then for 70 as safety net yet, if I do they will liquidate immediately
Now Gaben shows up and nerfs pudge mid-game, by the time I alt-tab and try and list my shares for 70 cents they are at 5
90% loss in seconds.

>>62639280
About this... you will soon realize that you 1000 positive trades are decimated by a single bad trade, so keep it at pennies that way you will learn about this phenomenon for cheap

>I can't list then for 70 as safety net yet, if I do they will liquidate immediately
You don't have stop-loss, but you can buy many different markets and diversify. If you are correct 60% of the time, you can make a profit this way.
And yeah, you can't do that on games, but you can do that on markets that take a month to complete, like elections, fed rates, etc.
>>
>>62639344
This 60% figure is not exact. If you are betting exclusively on 90 cents options you will need to be correct much more often to make a profit, and vice versa, if you bet on 0.1 cents you need to be right once or algo.
Also yeah elections results are more stable, at least it will match with what the TV says, so even if the country is rigged you are betting on who will be nominated regardless of fraud.
BTW, look at Brazilian elections, Lula is going to win again. I wont bet my 60 dollars because its cursed money but... he will 100% win those figures are underflated.
>>
>>62639376
I bet on 4c and sell at 8c. I never bet on anything that costs more than 20c. I avoid those markets. And I always sell before it ends.
>>
>>62639376
>BTW, look at Brazilian elections, Lula is going to win again
I did not bet either way, but I did ask some Brazil anons on /pol/ and they all said Flavio will win. But I wouldn't bet on that either because Brazilians on /pol/ are always coping about Bolsonaro losing before, so they cannot be neutral in this.

Pure cope. We have to cope. Suppose you have a wife and she is mommy goth, and she says its 4 a.m time for cock and ball torture everyday, can you blame a man for saying, everyday, that today it will be different? Can you blame a monkey for dreaming the day where balls and cock wont suffer torture? Don't be angry at us fren.
>>62639383
Come to think of it, in those game by the end, the losing option was indeed fluctuating a lot, it could indeed by a chance to double the bet from a low number to a low-but-higher number

>Suppose you have a wife and she is mommy goth, and she says its 4 a.m time for cock and ball torture everyday
This is such a strange way to describe your president ... is it his fetish or why did you bring it up in such a way?
