Is signing up for a health insurance plan a meme?
>>
>>62638584
Yeah if you have a brain and take care of yourself. Find a naturopathic/holistic doctor, pay out of pocket, and sign up for crowd health. Just for emergencies
>>
If I have a medical emergency, I will use AI to turn myself into a doctor.
>>
>>62638584
yeah you just need to never have a medical emergency and you'll be fine
>>
>>62638627
do you only have emergencies that you need to diagnose?
I'm at the ER right now because of a severe allergic reaction I don't think AI is going to help me with that

Best to get one through work. If you don't and get in a bad accident then you have to be the idiot that didn't sign up for health insurance and begging people for money on gofundme for your medical bills.
>>
it's bankruptcy insurance... just a super high deductible plan so a single surgery doesn't bankrupt you.
>>
>>62640387
Well mine bankruptcy insurance has climbed to 15% of my income. I have no net worth and nothing to actually lose other than some savings and crypto that is -99.999% down. Seems kinda stupid to have the insurance in my case.

Yes. I don't have insurance but I have money and life is so much easier.

The prices of most care is cheaper without insurance, or the same. The moment you whip out a credit card you get the self-pay discount. If you paid with insurance you'd get the same prices. So insurance would only kick in AFTER the deductible.

So then you ONLY save money with insurance in a year when your health costs are greater than your monthly premiums plus your deductible. For a lot of plans that's like $20,000+ in medical bills before people even come ahead a penny.

If you're healthy and have no chronic disease and don't abuse drugs or get piss drunk partying then that's a dumb bet to make. Anyways loads of hospitals will also just forgive or modify debt if you're a poorfag, what the fuck do you think all the Mexicans showing up at your hospital get?

this is basically limited to non-invasive outpatient services. if you need surgery, imaging studies, anesthesia, any sort of invasive procedure, etc. then it gets very expensive, very quickly.

Have high deductible through work and max out an hsa. You need health insurance so a broken bone won't completely wipe you out, but if you are young and healthy, you are basically throwing that premium money away most of your life.

>You need health insurance so a broken bone won't completely wipe you out
just don't pay the bill, what are they gonna do?

Remember when doctors tried to kill everyone with heart attack aneurysm causing clot shots?
Any American type medical plan is cursed for the next 90 years. Since most normies are cursed, if they get off the healthcare plan they die. So don’t rely on it is what I’m saying.

Health insurance includes really important routine stuff like eye care and dental care, at least make sure you have those covered because a healthy lifestyle doesn't guarantee good eyesight or healthy teeth.

Confiscate your assets, garnish your wages, etc.
And the jew leaves no loopholes for you. If you hide your assets, you will be charged with fraud. If your wages are garnished there is a minimum that you must pay even if you have no income, you are literally a slave.

I want to bring one point. I consider health insurance to be a scam because hospitals set prices high because they ironically insure themselves from portion of patients not paying up, and those who do, the insurance companies can afford it, by racking up these premiuma.

So you're paying not only for your insurance but also for the beaner next door who won't pay.

Didn't research any of this, just a thought.
>>
>>62638584
No. You need it.

>then it gets very expensive, very quickly
Every medical bill I have ever gotten does not have a due date printed on it nor does it have a minimum balance on it. I don’t know why but I imagine if someone without insurance gets a medical procedure, couldn’t they just simply pay like $10/mo on that shit? I have insurance through my job so I never cared to try it but I always wondered how that worked

It depends on how much you owe and what assets you have.

If you owe $5k and you're broke, the hospital will usually write it off as a loss. It'll effect your credit score depending on the state you live in as well.
If you owe like $150k and you own a house, or have a high-paying career, there's a very high probability they'll take you to court and you'll be forced to enter a payment plan where your wages are garnished from your paycheck, or be forced to liquidate assets to pay off the debt.
