I got paid today. I feel like at this pace I'll never retire.
>>
what region do you live in, do you get paid weekly, bi-weekly, or monthly, and how much do you spend on expenses. If I was making what you were making even bi-weekly, I could retire in just a few years. even bi-w
>>

How would you retire in a few years off that? That's like 5k a month at best if your expenses are absolutely minimal
>>
>>62638797
I live in the South, and this is bi-weekly (so I get paid $6K a month). Expenses are pretty low since I live with my grandparents (I give them $1K a month to help around the house), so in total expenses are around $2K a month.

there are cheap ass condos here in nebraska that are less than 60k. If I was making what OP was making, id be living like a king, and wouldn't have to work for very long before I could just live off investments. 5k a month is insane considering what I already live off of and still manage to invest.
>>
>>62638850
Yeah but at minimum to afford that 60k condo plus government tip and food at safe withdrawal you'll need at least 560k in principal. That's like a decade of putting that away
>>
>>62638855
I could do it for a lot less than that and just work part time at some piss easy job for like 18 hours a week to supplement income. the less than 60k condo in question would cost like 500 a month with loan+HOA and i'm 110 lbs so I don't eat a lot.
>>
>>62638835
>Saves $4K a month
That's pretty good.
>>
>>62638906
Yeah for sure but idk, only saving $40K a year while still living with grandparents still seems like a long way from being able to retire / make a family of my own.
>>
>>62639246
Having 40k a year to invest is a very comfortable position
>>
>>62638747
same and my take home is 6k every 2 weeks
its over

That’s fucking more than enough to fuel a good investing game assuming you’re not married. On coke or an alcoholic like me. But I make it work anyway.

Stop complaining. This is a great position to be in if you’re boxing clever.

It’s fucking ideal. He’s probably young too. Buddy. Your problems if you’ve black pilled yourself. Trust me. You are waaaay ahead of most people in your cohort. If you’re like under 30. You’re doin great. But you need to lay off the negativity here. Pussy is good. Gains are good. What’s the point of being rich if you’re miserable. You won’t find anyone who you want to share it with. That’s the whole point.

Life is good bro. Pussy is amazing. And money and pussy and enjoying a beautiful life is not a buffet. You have to want them all to get to where you want to be.

Content. Empty balls. And relatively stress free.

this. I get paid the same as OP every 2 weeks and been at it like 8 years with mid 6 figs saved now. I've just auto dumped to index funds and I fuck my gf daily and live a pretty fun life traveling often. Literally already at the point I can retire if I wanted at a nice beach.

I'm just going to keep it going as long as I can still work remotely.

If you balance things with a fun life the time passes quickly anyway and compound gains can do its thing. Would highly recommend just carving the life you enjoy most asap, then transition to it full time once you can actually retire in a decade or so. My life literally wouldn't change much besides more time to do the things I enjoy and no meetings/emails for work again.

do retards like the OP not know how to do math? or do they come to "humble brag" at an anonymous fucking board?
most people in the fucking WORLD would LOVE to make this much.
>>
>>62639352
>>62639274
I'm a bitch so I put it into a HYSA.
>>
>>62638747
You're better off than most anon, you'll be okay.
>>
I pay $5,000+ a month in rent, student loan repayment, taxes and bills.

My whole paycheck is immediately taken from me as soon as I receive it. I'm basically a slave.
>>
>>62641432
Yeah but you cant stop them from hating.
>>
>>62638747
I put 200 a day into the market around 2pm, every trading day, no matter what it's doing. I borrow against my port on margin to live. literally just let line go up and invest early and often.
>>
>>62638747
My bi-weekly paycheck is $950...
>>
pretty good if your expenses are low
>>
>>62641595
Just smoke weed thats it. Litetally.
>>
>>62638747
3k every 2 weeks is amazing, i only get 2k per month on average
>>
one thing op never mentioned is what the general cost of living is, op should go to the mit living wage calculator and tell us generally how he's comparing
>>
>>62641618
Not every want a big house with a big salary. Its like you want to force that idea on people. Live under your means. 99% of ppl on social media never made over 120k per year but living their best lives dont be fooled man.
>>
>>62641624
mit uses a 1br apartment as the living wage standard for a single individual
>>
>>62638747
how old are you? if you're under 30 then fuck off you humble bragging faggot
