>most day traders ultimately fail
>most crypto gamblers ultimately fail
>most small businesses ultimately fail
Is my only option really normalfag-tier index funds and HYSAs?

you could always hold crypto and, like, not gamble it

Let's face it the majority left on this north korean basket weaving forum, including (You), are either >30 and retarded (didn't make it after 15+ years) or genz newfags (implied retardation). I'm only still here because my wallets got hacked circa 2016, so I'm not like you

I forgot to mention the bots and jeets, of which there are also many. They standalone in their own category, no overlap with the earlier aforementioned

Have you ever actually tried calculating the compounding interest you'd get if you just invested into an ETF and how long it'd take you to make it? It's not as long as you think if you don't work some absolutely shit-tier job.

Well, there were a few, I was younger and in some cases perhaps not careful enough. It was also a wild west back then and security on all wallets, exchange or not, was pretty ass. But one of the worst that was just under three figures of btc lost to a targeted social engineering attack. Long story short, some jeet used all my personal information that he had painstakingly acquired to convince Sprint (pre-Tmobile merge) customer support he was me, activated a new phone and transferred my number, then managed to get 2FA accounts loaded, logged into several exchange and app wallets and drained everything. I contemplated suing Sprint as I even had chat records/transcripts from the conversations the jeet had, but I was so numb from the loss I was paralyzed to take action, decided to move on with my life

Let left me dead inside for the better half of 10 years. Sharing this is somewhat therapeutic
