Eurohomo here. I want to buy a house in 3 months. I reserved some shekels for that. Where do I park it in the mean time? I don't like the numbers below.
>2.5% p.a. on 3 month CD
>2.1% p.a. on savings account

Correct.
Every country that matters wants USD to continue.
List of countries that matter:
>USA
>CHINA.

The rest want an alt, they cry out for freedom.

if you believe this i suggest you look at how hard Clinton tried to hand of the balkans to yuros and how impossible it was for them to agree on anything, even about when to have a meeting about a meeting.

seethers will continue seething until they have a leader to hide behind, and chinese elites (exporters) are happy to lord over their populace with a weak yuan, which is why it is so funny seeing people say china will rug us.
>>
>>62640153
Problem is that you need it in 3 months and whatever you buy might crab downwards in that time. I think your case is one of the few where putting money in bonds would make sense.
>>
>>62640153
Put it in the 2.5%, it's not worth the risk to make a few hundred more.

i know wbut i want o know where its coming from. is it literally from the fed directly or one of those fake and gay bank relief programs or the fake and gay infrastructure bill shit or just the local bank lending that someone ordered increased? i have a feeling its related to the jewish globohomo AI datacenter surveillance state?

Even as an American, SPYI is better for taxable accounts than JEPI/JEPQ/GPIQ. JEPI/JEPQ is for your IRA/Roth after you've turned 55 and want to generate some income to pull from it.
>>
>>62640182
GPIQ and JEPQ monthly yield is about 0.8% which goes down to around 0.6% after being taxed. Assuming he has saved 100k and rounding the numbers he would have 100600 investing in 2.5% and would have 102000 investing in JEPQ/GPIQ and that's if the NASDAQ stay still. It's just not worth the risk of getting a bad day when he needs the money and the NASDAQ is down to get 1400 more on a 100k amount.

find out for yourself.

i learned so much answering this question for myself, loads more than ever before researching any market topic. I admit I didn't sleep for almost a month but it is besides the point.

it will take you quite some time but you will be glad you did it.

>i have a feeling its related to the jewish globohomo AI datacenter surveillance state?

this is what i mean when i say "low effort schizo"

your brain is an economist and wants to do the least amount of work possible/be most efficent to satisfy the task you give it.

you can be retarded and just say: jews dun it.
but even if that's true, it isn't (note though before your instinctual /pol/tard reaction is to say JOO JOO JOO that I am simply advocating you look into it, not suggesting you ought to believe x or y or z), but supposing it was, you would be no better off and it wouldn't give you any insight into how they dun dun it and you wouldn't make any money.

or you can learn how don & co are actually doing it (which is not what is in your textbook and which will make claude very angry if you propose it and which will have redditors screaming you're a schizo) and exit the cave and profit.

be a high effort schizo.

>100% cash since 2021
>>
>>62640206
Yes, but it's important to understand the tax break down of the distributions between the different CC ETFs.

SPYI is mostly return of capital, which means if you set it on DRIP, you pay almost no taxes inside of a taxable margin/cash account, deferring taxes until you sell.

JEPI/JEPQ has a lot more capital gains and premium income, making more suited to tax deferred or after tax accounts.

Good question. Im thinking of starting a hyper leveraged GRRR long to make back all that missed capital appreciation in one fell swoop
>>
>>62640252
I hope it's true but it seems like oil price suppression
>>
>>62640177
Woah, look what I just learned from Grok. EU residents can buy the UCITS listed tickers of our popular covered call ETFs and pay no withholding tax.

JEIP.L, JEIP.DE, JEPI.S, etc.

>>62640258
It might take a decade and 50 billion dollars to pump a meaningful amount of oil in Venezuela
>>

rumor is big oil agrees.
>>
>>62640260
Yeah I can get VUSA instead of VOO, VWRL instead of VT etc. But not everything has a UCITS version.

I'll do some reading on those, but I'm thinking a 10% downswing is a bit more risk than I should take. Thanks folks.

>>62640255
educated guess how many adult clones are out there
>>
>>62640268
depends on what tech. they do clone central casting 1:1 but only at the very high level, it's expensive and the technology is bad. clones only live a few months. so you may see a trump clone, but not a graham clone. elites are getting into blood line cloning but there is the whole nurture aspect so you don't end up with a 1:1. the real focus is on immortality, first stage is already basically done which will push them to 140-150 years. by then they hope to have transhumanist consciousness upload capabilities to machines.

sry that was meant for the other dude.

as to lumber, no.
that isn't linked to my thesis about labor.

if i take my thesis and extrapolate it would get too complicated, on the one hand financial vehicles/the future etc are losing value, but this is because real wages will be going up, and real wages going up would allow for more homes, so you get a chicken problem that would be quite hard to untangle.

the uncertainty tho i would say in all political parties agreeing zoomlenial housing is an issue counterbalanced by boomers who actually vote having most of their wealth tied up in housing and the fact they are dying while pop is not growing, and then there being the environmentalism angle, makes it even harder to guess at

Who cares, I just want the united States to control the oil rather than china or some commie in Venezuela
>>
>>62640241
just more market manipulation keywords. venezuelan oil is fucking locked in the ground in nasty sludge thats a nightmare to extract and refine. that shit wont hit markets for a decade even if exxon started building the drilling rigs and refineries today
>>
>>62640261
The point is not to pump the oil, the point is to prevent it from being pumped and from being sold to China without buying US treasuries. Capitalism is not about free markets it's about monopoly.
