I'm also a lawyer with an insane amount of student loan debt. Not sure if it's worth it, but you can basically keep deferring your student loan repayment ad infinitum as long as you stay employed. Like for a while I was paying 1/2 my monthly salary to student loans before I realized that I didn't actually have to do that and changed it to the "I'll pay it back when I'm dead, or maybe never" plan where I can just pay off the interest each month and not much else.

Sure it sucks having debt, but what even is debt if I don't have to pay it, and it doesn't affect my credit or anything else in my life? Would love some cucked boomer to come explain to me why it matters at all so I can laugh in their face.

>pays bare minimum which doesn’t even cover the interest
>”why is my loan not going down!?”
>somehow I am supposed to believe this is a smart attorney

This is like the retards I see on videos that complain that their credit card debt never goes down when all they do is pay the minimum monthly

If my lawyer didn't understand that loans are front loaded, which means he doesn't understand something as basic as the time value of money, then I'd be looking for a new lawyer.

"My kids'" estate? As in, when my kids die? What the fuck are you talking about, retard?

And no, student loans obviously do not pass on to your children, which is probably what your retarded little brain was attempting to say
>>
>>62644501

How much are you paying each month to just service the interest?
>>
>>62644582

but when you die, they'll take the student loans out of YOUR estate before your kids get anything

Incorrect. The loan is completely cancelled upon death.

>>62644596
Enough to where it's annoying, but not enough to make going to law school not worth it. I would not have even close to the salary I have now without a JD, even subtracting the amount I pay to service the interest on the loan.

Student debt does not need to be as saddling as many make it out to be. But that’s because most people don’t understand our monetary system.

It’s very easy, anons. Say your loan interest rate is about 6%. Know that the US dollar is inflating in nominal terms at a rate equal to if not higher than that. I’m not talking about the CPI propaganda they publish but the actual rate of monetary supply increasing year by year. Thus, your debt is remaining the same if not lowering in value each year just by maintaining it.

I personally left school with $175k of debt and the current balance is $190k now. However, that is 15 years and $40k paid. All the while, I’ve put most of my money in bitcoin and the markets and now have surpassed 7 fig liquid net worth. I couldn’t care less about the loan, I’m going to let it inflate away as they continue to print money until a 6 fig debt is laughable. Don’t make the mistake of dumping all your capital into this system of indenture servitude - that is how they want you peasants to play the game. Instead, invest in any asset class that you feel confident in and ride the wave with the few.

You're right, but keep in mind people will get really, really mad about this. Which is interesting, because they have absolutely no skin in the game.

People with no student loans at all, who did not loan any money to you, will get extremely upset about you not paying money back to some random corporation or Federal student loan servicer, as if you personally owe THEM money for the loans! It's really quite funny and mind-boggling to see.

Good post. Literally anything but investing in the U.S. dollar (paying off the loan)
Buy bitcoin, buy euros, buy ETFs, literally anything will outpace the shitty dollar if trump keeps swinging his silly executive orders around

He's literally factually incorrect though and you two are mongoloid niggers.

>34 CFR § 685.212 - Discharge of a loan obligation.
>(a) Death
>(1) If a borrower (or a student on whose behalf a parent borrowed a Direct PLUS Loan) dies, the Secretary discharges the obligation of the borrower and any endorser to make any further payments on the loan

You mad? Kill yourself.

Zion don genuinely chose the worst possible time for this, sucking up liquidity from the population of people that are supposed to be the main consumers that will hold up the GDP
