New fag here, been lurking for years. Im in accounting just started in the career...It seems really fucking bleak. I was looking for a little bit of perspective here, (stupid IK) but anyone else able to shed light on the accounting industry, or is it fucked?
>>62645541Brother. I’m sorry, but it’s almost over for accounting as a career. I basically taught myself w/ AI how to do 1099 LLC S corp and this was in January of 2025. It made mistakes but I always would cross reference it with other resources from LLC firms. I’m sure it’s 10x better now that even when I was using it
Many people end up changing jobs or careers after their first. Just be sure to put your earnings to work. Why just save them when you can multiply them?I've experienced a week's worth of wages turning into nearly a year's worth from a single investment. Retirement? No. But it was a nice safety net.Safety seems to be your concern in a way. So keep an eye out for opportunity and take well-researched chances. Unless one is scouring assets 8-16 hours a day they won't see them all, so you're bound to see opportunities that I don't.
