Redpill me on buying Cybercabs and putting them to work on the Tesla Robotaxi network for passive income
>>
What will you do when someone inevitably trashes the inside of it because "fuck robots n AI n shiiiet"?

Webm related. Why do you think these people will treat your car with any level of respect?

whoops guess they forgot niggers exist
>>
If your lucky you’ll profit 5k in first year
>>
>>62648190
Your insurance premium is going to skyrocket when this becomes a bi-weekly occurence, lmao
>>
Did some quick maths for Austin and if there is 50 of these in the city you are at breakeven, any more and you lose money
>>
I wonder how self driving cars will work with diversity. Like what’s to stop a group of black teenagers vandalizing it, or an Indian taking a shit in the back seat? You could charge higher premiums across the board but doesn’t that eliminate the point of automation which is to reduce price? Or if you only charged high risk groups the premiums no way that’d get past the civil “rights” courts aka right to damage white peoples property. Insurance also gets expensive if it happens frequently enough. You’ll probably have these economic dead zones where auto taxis just refuse to service certain communities like target
>>
>>62648173
Surely if this was a good idea then elon would just be using his own cars for his own cybercab network? Why would he sell the profits to other people?
>>
>>62648195
why only 5k? also can you drive it if you dont want to use it a cab for the weekend?
>>
>>62648221

what a fucking loser ass contrarian take
>>
>>62648183
There's cameras in the car so you'll get to track the person and also get money to fix what ever damages they commit, im more wooried about drunks throwing up in it and then it goes to the next customer lol, like I would be running this 24/7 to make bank
>>
>>62648183

Who knew tweakers were the first line of defense against Skynet
>>
You can't have things like this in countries filled with non-whites, that era has passed.
Instead you should prepare to become something like South Africa and invest in high walls and barbed wire.
>>
>>62648194
Have a no colored policy.
>>
>>62648264
The only way this works is if a company made a credit score for cab renters.

How many rides would it take for this thing to be profitable?
How likely are you to get a crazy person to shit inside of it, or slash it's seats because they are hate Elon?
Do you have a good enough insurance to cover that?
What if some crackhead drops his fent in the backseat, and a child eats it and die later? Can you deal with the legal repercussions?
Do we have enough laws to cover your ass if anything bad happens?

If it didn't, there would be more of those robots on the streets
I've yet to see one
I assume that paying a jeet $20 an hour and letting him deal with the insurance costs is more profitable than a defenseless robot

Have you ever seen a crackhead in real life?
Here is a picture of one pissing in my parking lot, right next to my car.
If you don't lock the doors they WILL break in.
They have no respect for private property and leave trash everywhere
You will never have a cool solarpunk utopia while these people are allowed to live in the same city as you do
>>
Wat? Is full FSD here already?
>>
>>62648190
a scam
>>
>>62648173
Grow a brain
If this was easy and profitable, Tesla would be doing it themselves. They are just offloading risk to plebs like you
>>
>>62648190
A: insurance is a bullshit scheme that will fight you tooth and nail and go as far as to focus on a comma in the language of your policy in order to deny paying you. That's what insurance is.

Bad idea due to niggers op.
>>
>>62649340

im in dallas surrounded by niggers and tranny crackheads and i see waymos, cybercabs, and those gay ass uber eats robots at every interseciton. anyways, these are the same tired arguments people made about uber and they completely replaced cabs
>>
>>62648173
Uber and doordash make a profit because the owner was already paying the cost of the vehicle for their own private use.

You can't compete with that because labor isn't the main expense and you can't justify a fleet of autonomous cars as a personal expense that you would pay even if it lost money.

This is true of a lot of side gigs. They only turn a profit if you don't count 90% of the expense as business costs
>>
>>62650341
Or to put it another way, uber drivers usually LOSE money once you deduct the business use and storage of the car

But they can afford to do that because they were paying those expenses for personal use already
>>
>>62650341
Another example is eBay where the seller probably isn't making a profit after you deduct the costs of buying and storing inventory. It only appears to be a profit because they were already paying those expenses for personal use.

What's actually happening is they're taking personal expenses they have to pay and lowering them with a business.

Real businesses can't compete with this because it's operating at a loss to lower your bills. They can't do that.
>>
>>62650341
Elon understands all this and knows the real profit is in building and selling the vehicles because the way uber is set up the driver isn't actually getting paid for their time. They're getting paid for use of their vehicle and basically doing the driving for FREE!
>>
>>62650402
This is also how uber destroyed taxi companies. They're not paying for cars AND drivers. They're barely paying for either one.
>>
>>62648190
free money for the white/asian victims of chimpouts :^) no doubt about it anon
>>
>>62648190
You'll have two interior chimpout and get dropped from insurance, it's not a right despite being a requirement.
>>
>>62648173
>No steering wheel
>Cant be used like a regular car outside of Full self driving
There is a chance that some Towns/Cities ban cybercabs from their roads which would render it driveway ornament if you live one of those places.

>>62648190
The only insurance company that will touch them is Tesla insurance and no doubt premiums will be through the roof.

>>62648177
Supposedly the riders are vetted through the app and their credit card on file would be charged for any damage.
>AI is supposed to check the cameras for any damage or mess at the end of the ride and flag it.
>>
>>62648323
>There's cameras in the car so you'll get to track the person and also get money to fix what ever damages they commit
Yep, congratulations on catching Tyrone and getting his net worth of $800

They are also doing it themselves, just not everywhere in the world, every business franchises, you think every McDonald's is owned and operated by old farmer McDonald?.
>>
>>62648190
An expense.
>>
>>62648323
The people who do this kind of stuff are usually on drugs and don't give a fuck about cameras. And yes, despite being poor they do take the occasional $15 uber ride. Enjoy spending 20 hours of your time to get access to the $100 they have in their bank account to cover $1000 worth of damages, lmao
>>
>>62648309
Maybe to get more people on his team and/or make the whole enterprise look like its profitability benefits normal people. Otherwise it's just Elon owning the entire global personal transport market and people might get mad about it.

Actually, they import and favour the niggers to get cheap slaboury, no unions and low trust societies. Now they must face the cost of a beastly society. Zero pity.

These cars have cameras all over the place, inside and outside. Probably the worst car to try and vandalize.
>>
>>62648350
Ironically, the one country where it could work (Japan) has a super powerful taxi cartel that would never allow robotaxis to operate. To this day, Uber and other rideshares still aren't a thing in Japan.
>>
>>62651396
Just stop all niggers from using the network, problem solved.
>>
>>62648194
Its going to be wild when AI starts racially profiling blacks and they have a melt down over it
