Everything is on track for America's computing capacity to triple over the next three years as thousands of absolutely massive data centers get built across the country. This is literally ONLY worth doing if AI is good enough to replace you. But if it isn't worth doing, the entire economy will crash. Either way, you are basically doomed.

The utility of whether the tech is "good enough" or not is irrelevant. In the late 90s / early 2000s, the internet tech was incredible and it worked. But it didn't stop one of the biggest crashes in history from happening. It's a matter of market valuation and momentum of growth. The valuations are about to collapse on themselves, and momentum is stalling out. The OpenAI IPO will probably be the peak and then the downturn.
