Are banks still trustworthy? Where to keep my money if we are headed towards a banking crisis?
>>

Banks are trustworthy exactly as long as it is in their interest. The second the government wants your account frozen or taxed or confiscated, it will be done. Same with safe deposit box. Same with your mortgage contract.

Bitcoin was created in the aftermath of the 2008 financial crisis precisely because banks are untrustworthy

nice bait. money in a bank is not legally yours, you get a deposit, a claim on the bank reserves (which are 0% post 2020). all you get is 250k depositors insurance, which i'm not sure has ever been battle tested as if thats ever needed your getting 2008 or 2019 repo again.

for me the optimal portfolio is indian hemp seed, to sow the swamps with, shampoo (invaluable chemical cocktail post apocalypse) and no more gold or silver than they'd like to carry in a bug out bag

How much shampoo do you have in your bug out bag?

>that sounds ridiculous
>does no further investigation
>the more I think about it, it is ridiculous
You're probably the dumbest person on the internet.

Banks have been quite trustworthy. The proles our communist government has forced them to lend money to...not so much.

They're like that with everything but it's inconsistent. If they know I'm buying C4 online from Croatia they don't care but as soon as I resell it shaped to look like a kid's lunchbox with Marvel characters on it they freak out.
