How the fuck do I actually get a job in 2026? As a straight white male. I just got fired from my last job of 10 years and it seems like the world has gone fucking insane since then. I've filed like 150 applications already, I've been filing applications all day every day, using AI to write specific coverletters and resumes for every job to hit all the keywords, and even then I have only got 2 bites back and they were for shit landscape jobs. This is fucked up because I have an engineering degree and like 10 years of maintenance and construction experience. I'm literally on the verge of dumping my career and fucking off to Asia to teach english or something, at least I won't have to blow $1500 a month on rent there.
