While visiting a buddy earlier I noticed a scratch off lottery ticket sitting on the table. I'm not a gambler so I wasn't sure how they are cashed in but apparently you take it to a store and they scan the barcode and that's it. They don't check over the ticket or anything like that. My buddy told me I can download an app to scan the barcodes myself to see if they are winners so I took a stack of losing tickets. I'm curious if I use a good black pen or fine tip marker could I change the barcodes enough for them to register as winners. Anyone ever tried anything like this?
