BTC and gold are continually compared but they exist on different planets. BTC could most certainly outperform gold given a cursory look at relative MC but I ask where will that liquidity come from? QE will resume and that money will flow but I still expect that crypto inflows come predominantly from the poors and that poors will struggle to find enough money for their next meal and rent before risking it all on the markets worst performing asset class. The rich will buy gold, institutions will buy gold in net relative to BTC. And it will take much capital to move the needle yet China seems to place a lot of faith in it. For what its worth none of my social circle buy gold and I see that as bullish as I invert what most of them do.The next bullrun will be all assets running for their lives from inflation. Anyone could outperform inflation and the market or even gold; most will not though.
