Republicans losing in the midterms: bullish or bearish for markets?
Congress is useless for anything, and it doesn't matter because they're barely going to take the House and fail to take the Senate
Republicans gonna win. Their Christian dammit
>>62676526they could barely keep the government open when republicans controlled house, senate and president what do you think its going to be like
It’s expected so priced in
>>62677286i expect dysfunction and chaos, but what i really care about is market performance.
>>62677651Gridlock historically is bullish
>>62677664kind of makes sense, in normal world. congress normally is responsible for meddling. but we have Empire now; rule by Executive Order.
>>62676526bearish for anything coded republican in the hyper politicized world - so bad for crypto, ai/datacenters, and basically all the big tech at trump's inauguration
split Congress has traditionally been good for stocks.
>>62676526They controlled everything and it gave us war and high gas prices
>>62677664how is it gridlock is they lose the house/senate? I think the more chaotic political landscape is the best path fwd for smart market participants. You want things flipping from one extreme to the other extreme so you can sell peak bull mania and buy peak bear mania. As long as no major permanent changes happen in either admin you're essentially net neutral.
>>62676526The chud meltdowns will be hilarious. The people who still support trump now are utterly delusional and expect a red sweep. Look at /tv/ if you want to understand how pathetic they are.
>>62677728All the big firms will just switch back to nigger worship and putting tranny flag wraps on their cars again; if there's a genuine brain at the top of any of these companies, they're completely cynical of the culture war bullshit and keep 'changing teams' whenever its politically expedient
>>62677863I’m a lib in a liberal city and everyone is so demoralized that I don’t think a dem sweep is a sure thing. Many elected dems are all in on AIsrael
>>62676526bullish as fuck, dems own tech stocks so they will pump their bags. Pelosi for the win bitch
>>62676526Extremely bullish
considering the bond market barely moved when trump promised to print a trillion dollars to mail out to everyone if he wins the midterms we can safely assume he will not win the midterms. u can't fool the bond.
>>62677862I haven’t looked in a while but last I checked it was gonna be split
>>62676526Those who bless Israel are blessed. Those who curse Israel are cursed.Republicans will win. Well, except for fifth column filth like Massie ...
>>62676526Dem sweep will be a market crash. Corp taxes/regulations going up the ass
>>62676526Bullish short term because of how incredibly awful this administration is. Bearish long term because the Democrats are the exact same shit
>>62678883Yeah, their new hard lurch towards total statism is about as clear an anti-market signal you can get
>>62676526Bullish because they will reign in the corruption. The fed is colluding with republicans to keep interest rates artificially low to allow them to rob everyone blind without it causing a crash. They are trying to wait until Trump is out of office for the economic pain to be felt. As soon as a democrat is in office, there will be pain, but with Trump still in office, even with a democrat congress republicans are going to keep on trying to steal as much as possible and the fed will keep monetary policy too loose. With democrats actually reigning in some of the crime it should have manageable impact on the growth. Bond markets could also recover assuming democrats get more serious about raising taxes on the wealthy.
>>62679392Everything in your post is half correct, but backwardsIf you think D is less corrupt I have to know where you're getting your drugs, anon. They're full bore all in on the luciferian death ritual. R party is only like 75%. Still beyond terminal for being good for the constituency, but there's infinitely more genuine patriots (yes the term is overused in a bad way, and I dont mean it in the jingoistic way, but the civic duty way) at low levels leaning to that affiliation vs the other way around.
republicans 53 senatorsafter mid term big talks of cutting government, war ends.
>>62676526
>>62676526bonds go up either waysame shit different smell
