I found a job within a month of losing my last job and they pay enough to cover living alone plus putting money away every month for investing. Having a background in engineering and manufacturing is like a way to never be jobless because no matter how much people talk about AI and automation someone still needs to finally build the automated do all robot or make a robot that can run a machine shop from taking orders to manufacturing to final inspection then ship it.

>>62677544It's all an insider scam. Today my work promoted a noob of 24 to be the department head, without him having any experience in the field. They selected him instead of far more capable candidates because he's a lightweight yesman that doesnt have a clue. He's just a figurehead. Can't wait to see how everything gets rekt. I'm quiet quitting. I'm even thinking of calling in a quilt tip and call the authorities on them. After i'm one foot out of the door obviously.
