My dad went into gambling debt at like 30k. How does one get out of high interest loans?
>>
Get another loan and bet the opposite of what your loser dad does

30k all on red. If that fails put 60k on red. If that loses then put $120k. You literally have a 15/16 chance of winning it back

Get a new dad

Investing is the process of multiplying your earnings. You probably have more knowledge than I did to start. Narrowing down the multitude of assets to decided what I'd invest in during my first year took many hours of putting my hobbies aside and researching their potential, both assets trying to achieve practical things and things for fun. Didn't always pick winners but didn't go into debt to make investments. Hundreds turnings into thousands. A week of wages turning into almost a year's worth.
The pay-off wasn't usually quick either. Glad I spent the time being careful though. Many times I held assets instead of doing further research into whether they really would go higher than the ATH that was just achieved anytime soon. Thus I didn't rotate gains from one asset into another before it reached a new ATH. So keep that in mind once you start seeing gains.

This. Take a lower interest loan to pay off the higher interest one.
