when n vs np is solved, bitcoin is kill. ai exponentially drooples each year. it will eventually happen. it will go from a curve to an ascended 90 degree angle. I'm guessing before 2030 bitcoin will an hero.
>>
supposedly AGI is here, and yet somehow, you still have to get up for work tomorrow
AI is a farce and the bubble is about to burst BIGLY
>>
Can it stroke my P though?
>>
Gentleman this is a thread for the ages
>>
AI ceo's are desperate for attention these days

call me when AI can replace a technical support engineer from Mumbai
>>
>>62680446
The technical support engineer in Mumbai for sure is using Google Gemini or ChatGPT to do daily tasks.
>>
>>62680446
unironically support and backend positions are the very few AI proof CS jobs because no company will ever allow to have their entire be infra scraped and support monkeys need to be in constant contact with clients and devs which all the betacuck introvert shy agents can't do
>>
>steal users work
>bait the public into thinking you can solve significant problems
These kikes are delusional
>>
>>62680446
>AI can replace a technical support engineer from Mumbai
Advanced AI models can absolutely replace a technical support "engineer" from Mumbai, it's just that running the AI costs more than paying the dude
>>
>>62680467
They did steal the work of researchers, but at the end of the day it's the AI who found the solution
>>
>>62680317
>AI solves the P vs NP problem
>it finds P != NP as is expected
>nothing happens
>>
>>62680470
then it cannot replace it as the pajeet is more efficient
>>
>>62680489
True, for now. the issue is that while the pajeet efficiency per dollar is stable, the AI is constantly improving. And even if it wasn't, advancements in computing power alone will make us reach a point at which the AI will be more cost effective
>>
>>62680317
P vs NP is a completely different category of problem, doubt it's even approachable with current mathematical techniques
>>
>>62680317
np vs P is not solved, they are checking if it is true or not fag
>>
>>62680373
keep coping. cranker supremacy
>>62680446
it already does, jeets like you are seething about this as it is going to nuke your economy
>>
>>62680499
I'm french and wealthier than you

I just know that AI can't do shit except lie, steal and cope
>>
>>62680501
Honestly, the truth of AI lies between the lies of AI companies, and the fud of neoluddites.
Those who think that AI is going to replace us all in the next 2 years are retarded. But those who think that AI is a' absolute nothing burger are just as retarded. I mean, one of the seven major math problems was just solved, you can't fake that. And yes, they did steal the progress of researchers to achieve their goal but those researchers have not found the solution, the AI did. That should make you realise the potential of the AI.
Calling everything a nothing burger meme isn't a sign of intelligence, if anything it's just as retarded as being hyped about everything
>>
>>62680506
AI did not find the solution fucking retard

you got psyoped because you are low iq
>>
>>62680501
I doubt you have 60M € worth of assets like me jeetoid
>>
>>62680511
Sure bro, the researcher themselves and pretty much all mathematician agree that the solution was found, but retardjoe from 4chan (you) actually knows the truth
>>
>>62680511
AI found the solution using the process that some Spanish researchers layed down in 2023. It is literally what academics do, grab ideas and use them in their field you luddite jeet moron
>>
>>62680472
Lmao what are smoking
>>
>>62680467
Most of the progress the researchers made was in the last 6 months using ai
>>
>>62680529
Theres a difference between a math prof using AI chats to discuss and work on his ideas and most prominently write code, than to prompt AI "solve NS" and be done

The latter wouldve never worked without his prior work and input
>>
>>62680543
I agree but also this solution would be improbable without these tools
>>
>>62680543
You could never write or read if someone had not taught you, and if you didn't have access to learning materials.
A researcher could never find a solution if it wasn't for the thousands of mathematician who worked for the last 5000 years solving issues and laying the foundation of modern science.
You're accusing AI of not being able to produce 100% original outputs but that was never how human intelligence worked anyways.
>>
>>62680543
When it solves Cobaltz conjecture next week you are going to look stupid as fuck
>>
>>62680561
Luddites are coping, their fragile egos based on their intelect (pure Dunning-Kruger desu) doesn't allow them to see how powerful this tool is.
I am using this tool flr industrial processes at work and it is incredible, it would probably cost us millions of euros to implement stuff this shit outputs in 8 hours with a pro subscription
>>
>>62680598

>>
>>62680719
there approaches are nothing alike
>>
>>62680733
Liar, no one has seen either proof. The mathfags were using it to code up lean proofs and suddenly OpenAI have a proof a few days later. What a fucking coincidence!!! Any of the other millennium problems should be solved in hours/days if it's so powerful. Astra has not managed to solve any of the other millennium problems yet. Figures given it has nothing in its dataset to allow it to solve any of the problems and that it needs training data to be able to do anything on X thing. No training data no output, it's how these things fundamentally work.

reminder that the anti ai sentiment is amplified by the Chinese. I wonder how the discourse would look if deepseek claimed the proof
>>
>>62680824
it has nothing to do with anti-ai you golem
The problem is a soon-to-be trillion dollar ipo company sneakily training on unpublished academic work. then throwing in so much compute once they produced enough training data just so they can claim the proof for themselves.
The mathematicians were working on it while using ai. why not let them have it? They had to steal because they need hype for their IPO and didn't want someone affiliated with anthropic to get partial credit. It's ridiculous
>>
>>62680851
They probably should have let them have it 2bh, that was pretty shortsighted. It’s still their model and it would have painted them graciously instead of petty
>>
>>62680317
I thought quantum was the most retarded FUD, but this takes the cake. Congratulations!
>>
>>62680518
Davide Piffer talks about this. He thinks that the value of AI is that through its training and the infrastructure that does the compute, it has vastly greater working memory, and working memory has an independent effect on mathematical ability beyond g. It doesn't need to be an innovative mathematician. All it needs to do is instantaneously cross-reference enormous amounts of work already done, with a little computational spit and glue to make it work together.
>>
>>62680317
retard, math can just assume n = np and see what happens, and they have. and also even proving n = np doesn't just magically give you all solutions
dumb retard
>>
>>62682604
>n = np
imagine copying and pasting the typo because you cannot memorize a simple formula
>>
>>62680777
I do believe they already admitted having some "inspiration" when they told their AI what to do and kind of iterate on.

>>62680824
Bro it would be so gross the glazing like just because no Jew could benefit from it. These freaks would love us to have to eat out of dumpsters because then its taking a piece of rotten fish out of the Jewumpster.
>>
>>62680467
I greatly look forward to responses from doubters like you when a second millennium problem is solved
>>
>>62680317
It will turn out that p does not equal np and nothing will happen
>>
>>62682762
A proof implies we know some general principle about np problems that seems impossible to know, knowing that principle might tell you exactly how far from the best solution any solution is.

I hope there was a massive calamity step implied in there somewhere because there's a lot of dead weight at the top (and bottom) currently

>>62680317
As a mathematican: P vs NP is just unproven, but basically everyone "knows" P!=NP.
So if anything, AI will find a proof for that. The bigger shock (a truly gargantuan shock, like as if someone would disprove the axiom of choice).

For non-mathematicians to understand this: Should P=NP be true, it would be akin to the discovery of aliens in spaceships. We can imagine how that'd look like, but it's just not a realistic scenario to assume you're gonna experience.

Too late.

>>62685135
The Daniel curve (the red line) ends with humans dead between 2027 and 2030, unless there is massive and abrupt international coordination. Literally every aspect of his predictions in 'AI 2027' is coming true.
